I know Randy it would be a great candidate for a Baxendale conversion.. has an amazing voice and really light. The V neck I'm not so in love with but still its coo as hell. No probs at all man I hope you get some more interest so many people say they want an FS5.. well nows your chance
G'day Jase, Cool collection. I see you use a thumbpick, is that something you gig with also? I gather you're a fingerstyle player. I don't see any dreadnoughts/jumbos for strumming! I did recently watch a guy on RUclips play with...banjo style metal picks on his 1st and 2nd finger. Sounded alright...of course changed the tone...it highlighted that middle range. 👍 Good playing. Dang...that Maton sounded... B.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. Cheers.
haha hey man thanks yes she sure does sound sweet.. can't wait to hear it in 10 years time. Yeah man I use just a thumbtack and bare fingers and yes gigging. I'm tempted to drop the thumpick as bare thumb sounds real nice fro bass lines .. but the thumbpick can do the speedy stuff better... always a compromise somewhere.
Hi Pete, It's a shallow V at the headstock tapering to a more normal shape up towards the body. I find it really comfortable. Pretty chunky feeling in your hand. Nut width is roomy..looks like about 46mm so just a tad over 1 3/4..
No I chickened out but man I really should.. I would be better off to get down to one guitar and a spare (Maton & Yam) and concentrate on song writing/ gig hunting etc.. and not guitar fancying so much. Trouble is you sell it and you can't ever get one the same again you know.. when it something you really like..
@@JasonMckellMusic... remember what you said. Kicking back someday on the lounge...you and the guild! 🤔 I know not much...that being said. You seem content when your playing. You have found your happiness. Just saying. Cheers.
Of course you chickened out. I have, many times. The trick is to take pictures and make a recording, put them up for sale on a site and no ONE MORE TIME PLAYING. Because you WILL find many reasons not to sell them. Ive tried to sell a super nice Lakewood Jumbo three times. It's a big guitar and rarely play it. I dont use it so it should go but i fall in love everytime i pick it up..
@@MrBallynally2 mate "No one more time playing" is the truth right there haha.. yep I played that National and.. I think I'll just put it back out the back and not play it.... but it so cool haha.. glad you chimed in I do really need to sell one of them at least..

What's the neck shape on the National Delphi and is it fat, medium, or thing? Nut width as well please? Thanks, Pete
