    What a great counter tactic Master Wong, he throws a left then you block wit your right & left fist to the face. there's much more to learn for me but I'm definitely but slowly digesting these lessons at a time, I got to have total patience & not rush these these techniques, your Mind, Body, & Spirit have to be very calm & relaxed. I'm shocked at how many people think this is actually better then throwing a punch put a boxer against a wing Chun practioner. They always go down like a ton bricks. This never accounts for an opponent pulling there hand back and punching with the other hand.

    • @mondorivera7987
      @mondorivera7987 10 месяцев назад +2

      wing chun is not something you use when you sign up in a tournament against boxers or in the ring 😂it’s so if i’m walking out side and some guy try some im able to immobilize him and move on 🤣

    • @dacream_reaper0493
      @dacream_reaper0493 10 месяцев назад +2

      @mondorivera7987 reread my comment in most situations its not going to immobilize people 🤣 I said it's ineffective against a punch which anyone can throw a punch. Which is why I just said that a boxer who trains in punching would devastate a wing Chun practioner. Imagine if someone walked up to you and jabbed you guarantee you wouldn't have the reaction time to stop or push away the punch even if you did here comes the right. 1 2. A guy isn't gonna stand there after you blocked one punch they will throw a flurry of them

    Master Wong, could you do a video on footwork when it comes to fast reaction times / moving to the side if someone tries to hit you while simultaneously grabbing/gripping their wrist/forearm? Footwork is very important and I've noticed in all your videos you always shift your stance away/to the side of the attacker in open stance. Thanks and God bless!

    • @masterwong101
      @masterwong101  10 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely, footwork is fundamental in KT3. By shifting to the side while controlling the attacker's wrist, you create a safer angle. Remember, technique combined with self-control can be your greatest defense. How do you practice footwork in your daily life?

    Yes Master Wong but a straight punch can be extremly quick to the point that technique would only work if you predicted it. Apart from that as the punch could be faked too it could go in any direction from down low to up high. I think Wing chung is a great martial art overall but to some degrees and techniques if your not ready for what's coming and you can't predict it, someone who knows how to fight and is quick will literally smoke you. But if you fight average street guys, end up in an unlikely scenario where the mf ain't got his uzzi strapped or his medieval pocket sword, then yes against an average street guy that's finna be lacking... then this would totally destroy them.
