    importantly the engagement of humans in conflict and their survival in conflict. By understanding that human beings are organisms and as such fight for survival; humans react, learn, anticipate, and adapt; this is referred to as organic behavior. When lives (family’s lives, friends, and even complete strangers lives) are at risk people tend to fight for their survival. This fight against other organisms, e.g. another human being, is combat. Since martial art refers to the skillful engagement of others in combat, then the training in an art form is the medium used to cultivate ones abilities to survive. PJKD enhances the practitioner’s ability to adapt to the event of combat through training the reactions, learning, anticipation, and adaptability of the practitioner for survival. The problem with chain punching is the only way to consecutively chain punch is if those punches are weak like you’re tapping. Your first punch if done right should connect so hard that the opponent moves then your 2nd followup punch if you don’t adjust will miss.
    A punch should be followed up by sticking, controlling and opening him up further for mid chin, throat, mid chest palm strikes while keeping him still close to you.
    I’ve often find chain punches or alot of mediocre wing chun punches always pushing their opponents away. WC if done correctly is like clinch ground and pound but standing up.

    • @masterwong101
      @masterwong101  8 месяцев назад +2

      In my experience, the effectiveness of chain punching lies in adaptability and control. Each strike should carry intent and power, not mere taps. Remember, the way you do anything is the way you do everything. Adapt to the situation, control your opponent, and maintain proximity for effective follow-up strikes. It's not just about punches; it's about strategy and control. If you want to delve deeper, check out our website for comprehensive training programs.

    • @DxModel219
      @DxModel219 7 месяцев назад

      @@MartialArtsMoves He doesn’t use it for a reason. Like I said trapping and sticking is so much better against a good fighter. Usually your first hit will make the guy cover up and he will move… a chain will just be hitting his blocks. Sticking and trapping him keeping him open for more strikes is alot more lethal.

    • @MartialArtsMoves
      @MartialArtsMoves 7 месяцев назад

      @@DxModel219 - Yep, JKD has simplified many things so that you can do them in one hit, rather than two or more. Once you perfect them, they can be deadly from a longer range too. Wing Chun is very short range but it's awesome.

    Chain punches can work in a street fight. I was untrained(only had watched martial arts movies) and was fighting a much bigger man. I was barely a man at the time. He had power and almost knocked me out with one punch but I managed to overwhelm him with a ton of fast chain punches to the face. He could do nothing. Ah, an astute observation, my friend. In Wing Chun, we emphasize the coordination of body mechanics to generate power efficiently. Ah, a classic question! In my experience, it's not about the punch alone-it's the timing, environment, and technique. The straight punch can be effective if executed correctly and suited to the situation. Remember, "The way you do anything is the way you do everything." Interested in mastering it further? Check out our full program on our website.

    I am alone, with whom I would practice? I have no friends either, do you think I would have to make a Wing Chun dummy for practice?

      Greetings, aspiring Wing Chun practitioner! Your dedication to honing your skills, even without a training partner, is admirable. In my system, we embrace the philosophy of adaptability and self-reliance. Remember, "keep it basic and simple."
      Regarding your question, crafting a Wing Chun dummy can be a valuable asset for solo practice. It allows you to refine your techniques, develop precision, and enhance muscle memory.
