I’ve had the black and orange version for several years, and it might be my favorite watch. And it’s not my most expensive by a long shot. It was worth the wait and effort. I love this watch
Hi James, good job with the review. I was on the waiting list for about 14 months but got my Khuraburi in the Black/Orange colourway. Did not disappoint.
Yes! That’s a beautiful piece! The lume looks incredible, too. Pretty obvious WHY there’s a waitlist for his watches. Quality to price ratio. Good stuff.
I'd like a clasp with a tooless adjust myself but the secret to opening it is to open the foldover clasp and then grabbing it with your thumb and forefinger on both SIDES of the clasp (instead of putting a fingernail under the claps edge) and pulling it up that way. No issue, comes open easily. This is similar to the Steinhart clasps which rely on very stiff friction to stay closed.
I have the devil diver by Bulova in this colourway, works really well, and to get a HELM oh boy you're very lucky lol, enjoy it and smashing job on the video mate
I was just lucky to see it on eBay and get it at an ok price. It is a very impressive watch. If I had bought it new I probably would have gone for the more plain black. But I’m so glad I got this colour. It’s great. This is one of my favourite things about buying second hand. Sometimes I buy watches that I would not have really thought about but end up loving them.
Thanks for the video. I have their Miyako. Looking to pick up another model. Odd that the clasp got thru their QC. I picked up that clasp for $20 and it works fantastic. I could not get a good fit with the one that came on the Miyako as it was a 2 micro adjust. This one is great.
I have the black/ orange with date window, waited 2 years but that was my fault as i received email to place order and screwed up the timezone both times when ordering windows was available. On the third attempt i made sure i was ready to order.Just recently i was offered another 2 chances to purchase because i used multiple email address’s for the waiting list so ordered 2 more in blue / orange and black/ orange no date .These i will gift out to my older boys.Nothing like Helm at this price point and the clasp issue i have as well and mine was brand new.
Thanks Jason. It is really nice. The clap has continued to be a little painful and lifting from the back has not worked. However I have found a way to open it that is working. I will just have to wear it more to loosen it up a bit.
Hi James, excellent review On the waiting list myself for the Vanuatu Ti . Try releasing the the clasp from the opposite/ head side of the bracelet As long as you have left some micro adjustment holes at that end it will give you extra room/ purchase. I always do this with friction clasps and find it always works Hope this helps By the way subbed a while back keep up the good work 😃
Love mine. Same as you and other reviews, clasp is a bit stiff. I grab it by the sides and pull. Do wish they made a double button clasp, think that would be on a wait list too though
I just threw a small pile of money at someone on ebay for a new Vanuatu Titanium that they were obviously flipping for a nice profit. I thought it over and just decided to go ahead and pay the premium to skip the line on it. I'm still in line and I'll flip that one when I finally get the call... or maybe not. We'll see when the time comes.
I had the blue/orange a while back, sold it a year ago and been disappointed with my watches since, low n behold i get an email to get on the list for the new titanium Khuraburi so stuck my name down, loved mine but found it heavy to wear daily so the titanium should hopefully be ideal.
It’s definitely a heavy watch and I understand that it would be too much for lots of people. It’s great they are doing a titanium version. Hope you do not need to wait too long.
I have not experienced a Deep Blue but from all the reviews I have seen of them the Helm is a much superior watch. But I can’t attest to that first hand.

Thanks for WATCHing
That's an absolute beast of a watch, looks so aggressive and that lume is insanely good.
It is awesome
Hi James, good job with the review. I was on the waiting list for about 14 months but got my Khuraburi in the Black/Orange colourway. Did not disappoint.
That is dedication. It is really a great watch. I’m really enjoying mine
I now understand the hype around this brand
Yes! That’s a beautiful piece! The lume looks incredible, too. Pretty obvious WHY there’s a waitlist for his watches. Quality to price ratio. Good stuff.
I can absolutely see now why there is such high demand
I really like this Helm watch, the dial grabs my attention. A really good review!
Thanks Naomi

Yep, bought a Helm. I describe it as the most overbuilt watch I own. Not a bad thing... just a thing!
It is a chunk of a watch. But very nice
Helm makes great watches! Got a few of them!
They really are amazing.

It really is

It’s a great clasp. Just works a little bit too well.
I’m sure it will loosen with a bit of use

That is amazing that you had the patience and thought to get yourself on the waiting list.
They are amazing watches.
Good review! I have not owned a Helm watch yet. Maybe someday. Concerning the clasp … Lift it from the opposite side.

Thanks John. I did try this but it still did not work.
I think it just needs a bit of time to wear in.
Love mine. Same as you and other reviews, clasp is a bit stiff. I grab it by the sides and pull. Do wish they made a double button clasp, think that would be on a wait list too though
Yes. I think if they changed the clasp this one would almost be a perfect watch.
But it is so good that I don’t complain.
Thanks for WATCHing
Very tempting, even though I don’t know the cost, or how long I am going to wait if I do order one.....
Hahahaha. Yes. It is particularly good. It’s a shame it’s not more regularly available.

They are so good that ai certainly understand paying a bit extra.
I’m sure you will enjoy it.

I own this model. Solid.
They make great watches.
Where did you find it James. She is a beauty.
I was lucky to find it on eBay
I’ve got the San Martin GMT, which I gather is just like the Cronos and possibly a touch better, it’s excellent👍🏽
I think all the SM range is great. I wish I could afford to buy them all 😀
There's a reason for those waiting lists, ding dong....🏴⌚🏴⌚
Absolutely. It is an amazing quality watch and well priced
Just got my Second Helm! Kuraburi Titanium! Love it! I must say, I love my Vanuatu stainless Steel just as much. Outstanding watches!
Amazing. Enjoy
I'm on the wait list for exactly that model. About #750. Maybe this year perhaps.
It is worth the wait. It’s a fantastic watch.
I am still waiting for the same one since quite a while....
There is a long wait list. But it will be worth it.
Prefer this steel version over the Titanium version which is very tinny and poor bezel action!
I prefer steel too. Nicer colour and weight on wrist
Mine doesn't have lume on the orange so I can't tell the time in the dark. The white is ok ish not bright like yours.
That’s surprising.
This one reminds me of the deep blue the case thickness
I have not had a Deep Blue. It would be interesting to see one
@@WATCHingJames and probably a good comparison between them maybe 🤔
That would be good
Nice watch 😎👍
Thank you. It’s amazing
Try ..Dapix diver watch not cost alot 👍🍻
I’ll check them out
spec monster
It’s an amazing watch. I now understand why it is so popular
Looks like a Deep Blue and about the same price. Not understanding the waitlist.
I have not experienced a Deep Blue but from all the reviews I have seen of them the Helm is a much superior watch.
But I can’t attest to that first hand.
Who doesn't 😂
Yep. Hahahaha
