I hope these two are doing okay in a sanctuary somewhere. They can live more than 45 years and I hope they're alive, well and rehabilitated.

I've read performing orangutans, like chimpanzees, can and do turn on their trainers. Orangutans may be mellower than chimpanzees but they do have their limits and can snap.

Well I grew up in Vegas and he was accused of beating them backstage and there is video of it as well.
