    I installed two-stroke performance ERM basic tune mapping is awesome and fuel miles greatly improved I then installed a few weeks later the medium compression head which gave me even more fuel miles and more down on the bottom definitely worth the money to buy the ERM module for the extra $150 so you can tune and it also gives you the codes, also spend the money on the mapping switch Yes it's bullshit $180 but if you ride the woods you definitely might want to tune down that wheel spin after all you just spent 12 grand on new bike

    The 2024 KTM XCW TBI (Husky, GasGas equivalent) is the all-time greatest two stroke bike (for hard enduro and single track) ever built, and that includes stacking it up against all two stroke bikes in it's class. Excellent quick and to the point video!

    KYMCO is Taiwan, not China. Big difference. Taiwan is a democracy and a fervent enemy of China. Taiwan makes some of the most advanced computer chips and castings in the world, and it’s just internet hype without actual evidence that the KYMCO cylinders are inferior in any way to the ELKO cylinders. In fact, most of the early TBI cylinders with cracks were ELKO, not KYMCO.

      Fair enough, I wouldn’t have a problem with it but I’m sure some would and if they saw two of the same bike at the dealer with different pistons. More info the better👍

    Good video! Finally someone who just say it… fuel? No not an issue.. radiator cap… no issue…
    Tip. INNTeck USA makes amazing brake pads!! Best I found next to stock
    Ps. The gas gas 24’s Xc line have the new fork. Only the Trail bike still has Explor. And all three MX bikes have air forks

      Cool. I’ll check out those pads. I stand corrected, yes I meant the old open cartridge forks the XCW had in the previous gen.

      Couldn't have said it better myself. We've never had an issue with either of these things but the internet is crazy with stories especially the fuel issue. TechEnduro knows how to put out a nice succinct video to squash the issue.

    Enjoying the KTM content. I was stoked when I learned mine came with the billet clamps. Just a note, the XC-W comes from the factory in the white/soft map. The manual confirms this in the section that talks about the maps. When you plug in the map switch the CANBUS defaults to the green/hot map for some reason or another, but when removed will stay in the map it was last left on. I added a map switch to my XC-W and I noticed immediately a difference going to the green map.

      Oh, that’s confusing. Thanks!

      Not that it really matters but my bike was defaulted to the green map. I rode it for 40 hours before buying the map switch. Once I purchased the switch and started to use more of the white map for tight tech stuff, yes, it was a noticeable difference. So I don't believe the system defaults to the green setting once you plug in the switch. I've been working on KTM's and other bikes for thirty plus years, the manuals are wrong a LOT.

    Just found out KTM is owned by Baja 300 Austrian technicians laid off what the heck is going on? We are told by actual KTM technician they would not touch a KTM anymore with your 10-ft pole KTMs 300 are blowing cylinders off or 2024 Husqvarna was leaking oil so bad out of the shift seal they replaced it twice now. Is this true? Please tell what you know about this

    When your talking about priming the oil pump do you have todo it everytime it tips over or only when it’s been tipped upside down for a bit of time?

    • @onthethrottle7104
      @onthethrottle7104 Месяц назад +2

      I didn't get that one, we've had our bikes upside down a number of times and have never had to prime the oil pump. Great video though!

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  Месяц назад +1

      It’s only if you see air bubbles in the oil line. It doesn’t happen most of the time on tip overs but has happened to me, upside down for a while in my case.
      Otherwise you might starve your bike of lubrication .

      Here: www.af1racing.com/af1-drm6x25-d-ring-bolt-m6x25-af1-drm6x25-sold-each-min-quantity-4
      You gotta buy a minimum of 4 but that will keep your riding buddies stoked.
