This song managed to somehow make me nostalgic for a game I'd never even played yet. It was one of the deciding factors that lifted FFIV to the top of my priority list when it comes to playing through the whole Final Fantasy series eventually. It's been incredible so far.
I hope, I really, really hope now that they've put this song in that they go back to the Calcabrina and Mist Dragon fights and add this song to those two fights. The Calcabrina fight doesn't feel right if the phase transition doesn't lead into this song, and the Mist Dragon was the first enemy to use this music, and deserves to have it back.
Agreed. As SE is revamping older dungeons for new players' experience, i hope they will change the songs for these two bosses. Don't need to be the Endwalker version. The original FF4 one is enough.

Soken probably is the only person with an arrangement of this on the internet right now that I actually like on par with or more than the original SFC version by Uematsu. My only critique would be I think the brass is a little under mastered, kinda gets drowned out by the percussion, strings and bass but... I mean it's so fucking badass still.
It's very possible this wasn't done by Soken too, to me it sounds like Takafumi Imamura's work, but it's impossible to say until they release an EP with the credits.
So we’ve gotten FF1/5/6 representation with Omega, FF3 with Crystal Tower, FF7 with the weapon trials in ShB, FF8 with Eden, FF12/Tactics with Ivalice, FF11/13/15 with collabs, and now FF4 all throughout EW. Is all we’re missing FF2, FF9, and FF10 (besides outfits I mean)?
FF2 has the Battle music FF9 has Ozma during the HW raid and the recent PvP music And FF10 has Anima as the Boss of the tower of Babil. But yes, those three are the ones with less representation
There's way more than that, almost too much to list. Every FF game has been referenced in XIV. Vivi is a Hildebrand character, Battle on the Big Bridge is a trial, Gubal Library is FF5's Library of the Ancients, ect, ect. We aren't missing anything, you just haven't seen enough of the game yet. Oh, and Wild Rose is the Scion's password so FF2 has been there from the start.

For a more authentic experience run this dungeon with a DRK, SGE, WHM, and BLM

Nobuo's new version of it in the Pixel Remaster is amazingly well done. Quite an upgrade.
