DJ was traded to ONE FC because Dana didn't earn much on him. Saying he sells less tickets and PPV's. Thinking he could pull a huge paycheck on Ben Askren, so he traded DJ for Ben. And that decision was a huge Karma for Dana. Ben becomes the punching bag of UFC's best. While on the other hand, ONE FC made huge sales from DJ. ONE is the real deal today who did not prioritize both how to make money and develop their fighters without favorites from the organization. Everyone is given a chance and given recognition. Dana is just a piece of shit. Today, ONE is slowly entering the USA. It's just matter of time for the UFC to fall down.

These dudes in one are freaking killlllllers. The way they sit down on their strikes is just different. I genuinely feel like his competition was equal if not better then what it would have been had he stayed in the ufc. I know the Rodtang fight had special rules, but I have serious doubts that any of the ufc flyweights could survive that first round. Let alone throw haymakers back. Danas biggest fumble for sure.

Technically the most skilled, and is also in a more competitive division. People forget there are simply MORE people in the smaller divisions. So DJ was the BEST in a bigger pool of people.
Jon Jones also fights REALLy dirty. His notorious for eye poking (he's not checking distance, he is actively trying to poke people in the eyes) and kicking people in the knee to hyper extend their knee and possibly end a career.

Mighty Mouse has been on my GOAT list since I was watching him dominate in the UFC. He's been one of my favorite fighters for years.
What's funny is they consider jon jones the best but look at DJ. This guy is insane. So technical, so well prepared, durable, high fight IQ, everything. He fought some real killers too. On top of all that, he seems to be a respectable guy outside of the ring. For me that counts more than anything.

Demitrious has always moved like no one else. You just can’t say he’s like so and so mixed with whoever. He’s his own fighter, his own style. Amazing even when he loses. He may be getting older but has he ever looked tired? I mean the other fighter will be breathing like he’s at 10,000 ft but Mighty Mouse will be doing flying spin kicks just to celebrate.
He is so so so so good. And a wonderful ambassador for sport, youth, and adults alike. I cinserely treasure that DJ exists. I learn human stuff from watching and listening to him.

In all seriousness… How well rounded he is.. I see the same, if not even more impressive, with Illia Tuporia. Has a base of wrestling, Judo and BJJ since childhood. The dude has nasty submissions, especially his Anaconda choke, it’s filthy. The dude can take it to the ground and end you in a hurry, but then you add on top of that his boxing. Ughhh bro. His fundamentals are *chefs kiss*
He then merges all of this so beautifully. It’s sad that most people won’t have a single clue as to what I’m saying because he hadn’t even shown what he can do in the wrestling and submission department, but rest assured… he’s him. He could’ve easily subbed Emmett, but he kept it on the feet and dominated him, despite knowing one hit could send him into orbit. He then subbed Bryce Mitchell despite having the ability to sleep him. I sense a Jon Jones aura about him in the sense that he may wish to defeat his opponents where they’re the best at.
Anyway, I’m just saying that DJ was the perfect fighter(minus the lack of KOs and risk taking) and I’m seeing the same in Illia.

I loved the Rodtang fight. First round was striking only and Mighty Mouse held his own against the Muay Thai ace. Once grappling was allowed in the second round, Mighty finished the fight in seconds. Power of MMA.
