it seems that you haven't understood that "opera" in this case is a latinism where it means "one of the musical pieces" of Ennio Morricone. I love to be a DODO, it's a singular and very sympathetic bird, unfortunalelly extint due to anglo-dutch colonialims and their ignorance.

This piece, Gabriel’s Oboe is a part of a larger work-the soundtrack of “the mission. It’s composer was Ennio Morricone, the gifted originator of this score. I’d urge anyone to listen to the entire score. Its both profound and ethereal.
In my opinion, The Mission's soundtrack is something never heard before and difficult to match in the future. Can I dare? It's overwhelming, as a sort of "Sistine Chapel" in music.
