How did you get the float switch off the pump housing (to examine the magnet)? I have what appears to be the same model (it runs constantly, in or out of water). The float switch shaft is too long to remove without breaking and the shaft's socket ends do not appear to be removable. How'd you do it?
Just being cheap I mean if you don’t have it I understand but you already got it out. You might as well just replace the whole thing because they only last Tops 10 years if you use it a lot.
