Absolutely gorgeous! The road, the villages, the river and snow capped rugged mountains all round and a lovely, mostly gently winding road that hasn't got too much traffic on it. Mayte! You're living the life right now. And even the bike's making happy purring sounds, I'd easily believe that was a new bike from the sounds your mike was picking up there. Can it ever get better than that? No way that I know of.
it has been a very special trip. and yep the Vstom is doing sound after the stter atutter at the start lol.although the fan and coolant system have been working overtime lol. methinks a full flush and steam clean all the rad when im back 🙂 but it has been an amazing trip, hope alls well mate
@@barebonesmc Yeah, not too bad here. I'm riding down the coast for a bit of whale spotting and lunch at my favorite chish and fips shop so, partly living the dream lol. I really love that rugged, mountainous type country with so much lush greenery and where you were there looks amazing. Enjoy the rest of your trip on old reliable. You make me feel stupid for ever trading mine every time I see or hear one. I still reckon those V twins do a different, very pleasant feel that's unlike any other twin, despite a lot sounding similar, they just feel different, in a good way.
@@andymcneil7085 sorry mate. I’ve had my trials. They told me I wouldn’t walk again twice now. But I’m a stubborn old fool lol. The best way gto get me to do something is to say I can’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@andymcneil7085 Sorry to hear that. I got wipe out big time in 2015 and am pretty much useless as well as old but, I'm still doing it, just nowhere near as much.
What a wonderful road that was! Great surface, lovely flowing corners and spectacular views everywhere! Thank you so much for posting this and the other videos of your trip. 👍
you have a keen eye lol, just in, hazy but home safe 🙂 the surface had obviously been dressed with something ive not seen before at all. not sure how it was done, but the way the ice just didnt encroach on the tarmac was fascinating for me and ive still not worked it out 🙂
"Superlatives"..... yes my friend, I blurted out all of them I know in the first few videos & then you got into the mountains but by then I'd used up my whole vocabulary. We talked about it & I assured you I could find more.... lol, by now those watching can feel the beauty that's captured by your camera(s). I thank you guys for sharing all this. peace
Enjoy the life, the scenery, the machine, and maybe hop to the Turbenthal while you have a chance, home of the Emil Suter and the Suter Industries, man and company responsible for reviving the 2 stroke dream.Cheers mate and stay safe, although it is natural to be safe in Switzerland.🌍🏍️💨
yep, and Abergwesyn and many more, these are on a different level mate, one day we climbed higher than the peak of Ben Nevis in about 4km . one of my favourites in Wales is the road from Minerva to Worlds End lol
@@barebonesmc I only had 6 months on a bike but best 6 months of my life. Had a Kawasaki AE80 from new. Ran it into the ground in 6 months. Bloody mental back then. I know now I was a danger to all other road users but when one is young and stupid you don’t care. All I wanted was the adrenaline the bike gave me.
Flipping through channels & needing something to listen to, here you are giving me an hour reprieve to not wash the dishes & watch you. Either way I'd rather be on a bike behind you bc I would never try keeping up with #CTG & I do need to do dishes. 🙂

@@noodles2x4 interesting 😊 and have to say re tyres. Last 2 tours have been on mitas E07 Dakars. Sadly, for me, I’ve not been able to ride since October 1985. I suddenly became a disabled man.
