That bottom tie in will get you ran off my job real fast
You learn something new every day! I’ll have to use that pool cue grip with my left hand the next time I weld on pipe that size. For me at least I’m usually welding smaller size steam pipes, so when I touch the pipe with my gloves it’s way too hot! But every now and then I’ll get the big stuff. Nice video!
Saludos from around the Corner de Baytown Tx … gotta put the winner of the machine up against a grand Daddy rolled rack SA-200 and see why they still purring on the line still to this Day
Nice work. Always a good idea to clean inside edge as well.
Welded for45 yrs.Mainly inside Miller machines migs, tigs .Portable all Lincoln sa200 and 250.Never used a Miller on pipe .Now I see the gas company trucks with small rectifiers on them.Fighting the weld all day.Not for me.On the main pipeline there are 10 Lincoln machines to one Miller.Miller has a great customer service over Lincoln. The choice is yours ?Happy retired.

That F250 tho. Sweet. Working on learning to weld myself. Wondering if to get a machine and learn or go to a school. Hopefully someone here can give a direction. Thanks guys for the video. Nice welds.

Cool video Pepis 👍🏻👍🏻💯💯💯 what rod was the 3/16 they used to cap?
He was only running 40 something amps on his root pass?
Estaría de lujo un video, donde expliquen los tecnicismos, nombres en inglés, etc. De todo lo que se usa en soldadura.
