I know you said no more themes but for this year could you look at Disney shows that spinoff movies and watch the first 5 and last 5, maybe with some highly acclaimed episodes, and see if you want to see what's in the middle.
House Of Mouse was amazing to me and still is great cause it's basically the perfect fan service or fan fantasy of having all the great characters meet and interact with each other with their insane personalities. Seeing Hades applauding satan himself and Simba at a restaurant it's just awesome. Imagine Digimon and Pokemon having a cross over with all the favorites from the movies meet together it's just overload of awesomeness with no script or story forcing them to do or act in certain ways. Just them being them selves.

Please do 'Tangled: Before Ever After' and then the final episode of 'Tangled: The Series' (Plus est en Vous) as its basically a third part to the franchise and mostly explains the events of the series quite well
The minute I saw Frozen 2 the first thought that came to me was "Are these the cobbled together storyboards of when the original Frozen scripts were just about Elsa and Anna's character didn't exist? Cause dang I would have admittedly loved that a lot more."

Or Rodney from Robots hanging out with R2-D2 and C-3PO.
I would really like a Black Cauldron remake/live action. Heck it doesn't even have to be Live Action, but I would really love to see another adaptation of that movie. Since, you know, Disney wants to act like it doesn't exist.

My favorite part about olaf's frozen adventure is that during Olaf's song there was a mention of Chanukah, one of the few times Disney actually does something with the Jewish holiday. Being Jewish myself that really means a lot to me because the religion is rarely represented in media today.

About Winnie Pooh’s adventures, my theory was that Christopher Robin was writing and drawing the adventures at school and putting them in the book from the movies.
I know it's a video game series, but I'd love to see you review the Kingdom Hearts series. I mean, it's Final Fantasy crossed over with Disney characters, both of which are tied together into the narrative of the games. I know it can be complicated, especially with the lore, but they're all very well done games. I know you don't review games (at least not as far as I'm aware of & I think is a real missed opportunity), but with all of these Disneycembers, I think you'll enjoy the Kingdom Hearts series. Plus, the older games certainly have nostalgic value.
I really like Ralph Break the Internet!^^ I don't think it wants to be too satiric about the internet, they just wanna show how the internet would look if it was a visual world. And I had very much fun watching it and thought most of it was very creative! I kinda agree with your critical points, but I still really liked the movie, it was entertaining. Venelope and Ralph are just so likeable together. And I also liked the storyline about Ralph being too clinging - and in the end they really like apart from each other, like a far distance relationship! That's something you wouldn't expect from a Disney movie, cause it's a rather bittersweet ending. I also really enjoyed Frozen 2 and think it's really good! I mean, the visuals are absolutely amazing and I also like Elsa's songs a lot. Yeah, Kristoff's song didn't fit in, but I thought it was pretty funny and catchy (it's a parody of 80's music videos). I agree, the story was too much and there's some things about the story I thought were weird and also some plot holes. Like, why wouldn't Anna go search for Elsa, when she realizes Elsa might be dead?! She just accepts it. Anna is so optimistic, she would search for Elsa and try to save her! But still I really enjoyed the movie and liked many ideas of it. Oh, and I also love that it has this darker tone and is more adult. I was scared the sequel would be much more for kids, since so many little kids love Frozen, but it turned out to be the contrary. I also like this "finding yourself" story and the thing about changes and getting older, cause this issue is a big thing for me at the moment.
Since that one awesome commentator is doing the 31 days of Disneycembers for 2020. Here's my take for the 2019. And since I don't wanna fully copy, I'm only doing the first 12. 23:52 - don’t know why the critic is complaining here. I never even watched Toy Story 4 but that cat animation is some GOD TIER animation. It’s almost no different from a real cat! I definitely know why they went for the realistic design! To show how far they have come in animation! (Remember Andy’s dog from the first movie?)
I am by no means a Disney fan but that Winnie the Pooh movie looked very beautiful and I am going to watch it :D ...the characters to me at least look so adorable and I am a man that never uses such word haha
They should do a Rogue and Gambit movie. Have it open with her accidentally holding on to a very strong villain and it haunts with guilt. And Gambit falls for her while trying to help her deal with it.
I believe his next Disneycember will include Disney Plus shows and movies. Which I'm kind of not looking forward to as I don't have Disney Plus and with hearing the news of how the older content is altered and the free trial gone and the problems of singing up, streaming, etc., I don't think I'll be joining in and it looks like I'm not missing much. But I will watch the next Disneycember.

Gosh, I never forget how I saw trailer of 'Christopher Robin' during my mental disorder. I got really scared having an impression it was some kind of horror were these creepy bear is stalking Christopher Robin and may be that bear and the forest is only in his head 😑
Okay, I agree it was stupid to show the Frozen "short" before Coco. Even when I was in theatre watching Coco, I heard a kid say "when does Coco start?" She was clearly bored/ disappointed. BUT that doesn't make it a bad film! I don't get why people hate on the film itself! I think it's really cute and a heartwarming christmas story.
Im disappointed you didn't acknowledge Cameron Boyce's death, not talking about the MCU shows on ABC, Hulu, Freeform, and of course Netflix, and Star Wars The Clone Wars.
I agree with the critic on Toy Story 4. Look, don't get me wrong, I LOVED the first three movies, and the third one is actually my favorite of the Toy Story franchise. It was funny, it had a good story, its characters showed a great deal of development since the second film, and it also showed how Andy has been too. For me, it ended on JUST the right note and that it was a done deal. When I watxhed the 4th movie, I was literally thinking to myself, "This is it? Is this really how they want to end things off?" By the time it ended, I was practically clawing my eyes out by how bored I was from it, and it made me want to go up to the creators and tell them to take the movie and shove it up theirs. I get it, when you hit a rut, you gotta take a step back, but when it came to this, they took the whole walk back.
I haven't seen the Lion King remake yet. I somewhat want to just to be able to say, "yes, I've seen it" should anyone ask me about it. I was this close to renting from a Redbox at Wal-Mart the other day so I could watch it, but decided against it and walked out. And really, when it comes to all the live action remakes, Beauty and the Beast and Jungle Book are the only 2 I've actually seen all the way through. All the others, I've just seen bits and pieces.
I wonder what Doug will do for 2020. My guesses: -Mary Poppins Returns -Beauty and the Beast (2017) (starring Hermione Granger) -Mulan (2020) (Which is coming to Disney+ in September) -Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker -Star Wars The Clone Wars (movie) -Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008-2013, 2014, 2020 series) -Star Wars Rebels -Star Wars Resistance -Onward -X-Men films (since Fox/20th Century Studios is now owned by Disney) -Moulin Rouge (same reason as above, and because do it as a non NC review) -Anastasia (1997) -Titan AE -Some Disney Plus shows and movies he hasn't reviewed
Some other good ones for him to do include: The Absent-Minded Professor (which was remade into "Flubber") The Incredible Journey (1963) Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1994) Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco
Too be fair I think Captian Marvel is so boring because shes supposed to be emotionally restrained, but I dunno if it's intentional on Bri Larsons part or if it just happens to work with it
This is the one Disneycember I saw myself disagreeing with Doug's opinions the most, not even in a "I guess if you put it like that" kind of way. Captain Marvel, Lion King and Frozen 2 especially.
I MISS Dinosaurs! And the swear episode was good. Oh, there is a cake at a bakery I worked at, called a Schmoo. (Pardon the language) Ethel: If you ask me, television is responsible for the utter degradation of society. We should write letters. Fran: Mom Ethel: What? Fran: Get a life. There was one episode where Ethel had an out of body experience and became the poster gal for a t.v. evangelist show. But not before she's buried by her son-in law. Fran to Earl: She had to claw her way up from six feet of tightly packed dirt! They weren't all gems, but the good ones were GOOD.
Just a little something to keep you entertained. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

The Incredible Journey (1963)
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1994)
Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco
Do Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin it is the prefect movie for this dark year!
House of mouse was like kingdom hearts for TV
My question is why doesn't Disney make a tv show about it
What music was used for 1:55:00? I really like the music for the Adventures of Winnie the Poo
What would be the next live action movie if they didn't stop? Hunchback of Notre dame?
Can you do valiant
Too be fair I think Captian Marvel is so boring because shes supposed to be emotionally restrained, but I dunno if it's intentional on Bri Larsons part or if it just happens to work with it
What took so long, my buds’?
House of mouse?! Omg, I forgot that even existed.
Please do Tangled The Series this year
Ah 2019 that was a good year
Certainly, relative to this one.
With some exceptions.
At least they got Animal House dean to play the Earnest Camp villain.
I hope that Doug does a Disneycember for Bridge to Terabithia in 2020
I thought he reviewed that already?
@@joevenespineli6389 not as a Disneycember
@@lancethefilmguy9392 Ah ok
This is the one Disneycember I saw myself disagreeing with Doug's opinions the most, not even in a "I guess if you put it like that" kind of way. Captain Marvel, Lion King and Frozen 2 especially.
@ 1:00:27 thats fortnite lol not OverWatch. Just pointing it out because fortnite goes a lot with Disney
I MISS Dinosaurs! And the swear episode was good.
Oh, there is a cake at a bakery I worked at, called a Schmoo. (Pardon the language)
Ethel: If you ask me, television is responsible for the utter degradation of society. We should write letters.
Fran: Mom
Ethel: What?
Fran: Get a life.
There was one episode where Ethel had an out of body experience and became the poster gal for a t.v. evangelist show. But not before she's buried by her son-in law.
Fran to Earl: She had to claw her way up from six feet of tightly packed dirt!
They weren't all gems, but the good ones were GOOD.
Okay, are you supposed to be doing some kind of cartoon voice? I can't do 3 hours with you using that voice.
Please review the banana splits movie as nostalgia critic
Yeah I got time!
Mcu peter parker is basically a Prince Charming/lancelot character.
