She fills her movement with a true and unique interpretation of the character and executes technique flawlessly without compromising her own style. She brings something special to every role. Its no surprise choreographers love working with her.
She is a beautiful and ethereal dancer. She has fantastic technique. I love her in The Dream. It is too bad she is often eclipsed by some of the other principals at the Royal Ballet.

It seems that she has carefully arranged her dance into every phrase, measure and even beat. It would be better if her movements were smoother. I personally like the "Swan Lake" of the video very much.
Not sure if it's her natural ability to phrase or the coaching at RB, but she brings beautiful buoyancy to Florine (plus speed and phrasing), which is often just the flattest variation. Plus speed and rock solid core. Just wow! esp in Florine and Titania.

I’m glad to see this dancer using the top of her foot to propel her shoe forward on her toes. This is the way I used to dance. Absolutely wonderful dancer and beautiful feet.
My friends. We have rare opportunity to watch balley of 19 century. Akane Takada dance in old manner. Very fast, very sharp and without pauses. Today all Primas dance a bit slowly. The Akane's technique is excellent. The lines are wonderful. But I haven't any time to enjoy it. Too fast for me.

Is it just me or do her shoes look DEAD in most of these videos? She is amazing...has such a lightness and fluidity to her dancing.
I asked my cousin about the shoes, and she said they are probably a tiny bit dead, but if she wants them to be a bit dead, then it's her own choice
