Yesterday, Karajan's bithday I tried to access his and Eliette von Karajan's websites to see if anything special was offered the viewer, but neither website was accessible. Last night I had this horrific feeling: what if I only dreamt Karajan's existence? What if all this was just in my imagination? Equally this horrific sadness melted away as I sensed a wonderful smile that was cosmic, familiar and yet conveyed the idea that we are all momentary illusions-the Buddhist in HVK?

@cieobt2 What a wonderful and horrifying post. It sounded like one of Philip K. Dick's dark plots. Well, rest assured that the great Karajan will live forever in our hearts and minds.

    o lord jesus christ,
    king of glory (x2)
free the souls of all the broken faithful
from the punishments of hell (x2)
    and from the deep abyss.
    free (x2) them
from the mouth of the lion
    free (x2) them
from the mouth of the lion
lest hades swallow them them, lest they fall into darkness (x4)
but the holy standard-bearer will lead them
but the holy standard-bearer will lead them into holy light
which you promised to abraham (x alot)
    and his seed.
