Give me a minute to watch it all now, will ya? 😉 No favourite moment - Andrew's dance on the pedals is insanely impressive every time. No bike fit required.
Climbing is a therapy.. Any moment riding my bike is precious but those moments in the Dolomites and Alps are unforgettable - Campolongo, Falzarego, Valparola, Fedaia, Gardena, Giau, Monte Grappa, Pordoi, Sella, Telegraph, Galibier, Glandon, Croix de Fer, Chamrousse, Alpe d'Huez, the whole area around Grenoble (the balcony roads in Vercors, breathtaking; Chartrousse, fantastic.) etc.
This guy Andrew Feather is superhuman. It's incredible to watch for sure, so chapeau on the great video and stellar achievements. Edit: I guess I should watch the entire video before I comment because that Italian guy was no slouch, either.
Congratulations on your progress Dan. You should be proud! I hope to see future updates. Although I can do the work of most guys, 20 years my junior I look forward to getting health checkups next year when I turn 65, including blood work. The pitfalls of retiring early in the US.
Very encouraging to watch Andrew riding. no meal specifics is a good point to note. i will be happy to lend him my bike if he ever come to Mauritius and ride together onto Chamarel climbs. the hilly roads across the mountains have been recently rebuilt and still new to rediscover.
What a great video!! As a heavier rider (178cm + 93kgs), I've started on the "weakness" technical descent and getting into an aero position. Flexibility in the hips is the key - if you can survive the gut strike - you'll get them on the flats and decent. 🚴
I wish there was more footage of the Edelweißspitze cobble section. The whole climb is brutal, but especially that cobble section killed me when I went up there last year.
*update, 2h VO2 workout done, almost gave up 10 times but thanks to the video it gave me the determination to keep going! My favorite section was the 4 GCN presenters relay vs the feather 💨💨👌✌️
I watch Andrew Feather, I get all enthused, hop on the bike or the trainer and melt into a puddle of inadequacy. I can hold Feather 20 minute power for about a second. Still, watching is fun too!
Will the records Andrew attempted on GCN+ be released on youtube? EDIT: It would be mega cool if GCN could host a race between top GC guys (like Jonas) and Mr Feather.
We are working on a new home for our GCN+ content, super cool that you are keen to keep watching our films, we're very proud of what we have created. As soon as we know where the new home will be the GCN community will find out 🙌
If I were a TdF general classification rider I think I might not want that kind of attention! Kudos to Sepp Kuss for taking the risk on Zwift but I don't think they're going to get too many other takers, even though it might be good for publicity in a way a conventional PR person might not see.
So one of the prerequisites of power testing is knowing what your sustainable max effort levels are at various time intervals. How does one go about finding that out? Is it simply trial and error? I'm a beginning cyclist and would love to have these data points as benchmarks, but it feels like I wouldn't have true numbers until a few months of training. Can I just ride to my HR or something?
Wow, seems like AF’s Brompton has less than 25psi in that rear tire it almost bottomed out in a couple of frames…imagine how much faster he would have been if he had 60psi in those tires 😳
Never mind all that ,when watching a maintenance video you did you said Never put the bike in the stand by the cross bar ..But there you are all sat on the cross bars & you weigh a hell of a lot more than your bike frames ..so there .😂
is it true what Conor said once about Andrew that he only eats jam sandwiches? Just curious... Some more challenges with him and the incredible Illi Gardner would be awesome to watch.
Some say that he only spreads that jam from north to south, and has to have his bed at a gradient of at least 8%... All we know is that he's Andrew Feather 🪶
I think that the delivery riders should have an identification number on there bags to identify the riders. Same for all the hire bikes. It will address some of the problems.
I'd be really interested to know if a (track?) cyclist could beat a runner over a 100m sprint. Been looking at Usain Bolt's data. When he broke the world record his average speed, (from a "standing" start) was over 37km/hr. I wonder if a cyclist could beat him over that distance,
The absolute best track sprinter would pass Bolt at around 90m according to calculations but I’m not sure cyclist reaction time was taken into account which if added would make it pretty much a dead heat.
Well thanks colnago......does this means that my Rodaplana CR-MO Ishiwata 017 tube frame now is worth even more......wait....oh ok.....i need to make it look special by using marketing tecnhiques
What's your favourite Feather moment? 🪶
The jam sandwiches.

When he saw 45% gradient on his Wahoo 😂
the lloyd "diocanecazzofai" by far
Always a pleasure to watch Mr. Andrew Feather! 2+, or 24+ hour, we'd watch :)
👍 how many metres do you think he'd climb in 24 hours? 🤔
@@gcn
Wow that is a hard one. Ollie's biggest climb x2 :D
(Kidding :) ((Ollie you are the best))
1@@gcn
Thank you Andrew feather!! What a great sport! Very entertaining.
Great video to watch on a cold , snowy winter day. Than you GCN. And yes, I'd love to see Feather vs.Gaimon
Oooof we're keen! As long as Gaimon brings cookies 🍪
@@gcn Oh , I'm sure he would love to bring cookies. KB

100% - what a great list of climbs!
93BPM at the top of Alpe d'Huez is otherworldly. Andrew Feather is the epitome of elite athlete, no other way to say it.
He's a machine! 👌
18:58 i love how feather is just staanding there in the background like hes in the character select screen
Get off the computer and out on your bike kid. your brain is trashed

Loving all these compilations, it's like Christmas all over again 🤩🤩
We'll keep them coming! Christmas all year round then 🙌
That would be fantastic, seen them before but in a compilation makes it exciting what's coming next 😍@@gcn
I really like how soft-spoken and unassuming Andrew sounds. Pretty humble for such a w/kg monster
Isn’t that what typical pro cyclists are?
Congratulations on your progress Dan. You should be proud! I hope to see future updates.

That 'cute mudguards' on the Brompton bicycle grabs my eyes..lol🤣Feather is Feather, he is another level.
Thanks Dr O , Mr Feather , and crew..I see you've found where they cage the wild rocks .
Great compilation to watch whilst doing Alpe Du Zwift (which I did today) 😊
Day 2! Keeping myself excited and wanting to be strong both mentally and physically!!!
Richtig geiles Video, Mega Projekt👍🏻🚴♂️⛰️
Great compilation and riding!
I like Andrew’s philosophy on training, all of it outside, rain or cold. It’s more fun and enjoyable that way. The adventure is outdoors.
Another rematch please 😁. Love this stuff. How about getting in Dan Evans and Ed Laverak? That would be truly a contest of hill climb mutants.
That was fun . Love the channel
Very cool and fun video, thanks
Thanks Rick - which was your favourite section?
I wish there was more footage of the Edelweißspitze cobble section. The whole climb is brutal, but especially that cobble section killed me when I went up there last year.
And this guy is a BEAST! Kudos!! ❤️🙌🏾✌🏾
This could not come at a better time as i have a 2h workout on the trainer tonight and i was wondering how i was going to entertain myself 😅🎉👌

Hahahaha we want Feather to inspire not bring people down 😢
Great job!! Try another climb in eritrea from massawa to Asmara
Great videos for my endurance indoor rides
omg that 45% climb 😱 well done..Nice pinerello too
*Italian Excuses* Got me cracking
Try Holy Cross, Polomolok, Mindanao, Philippines. Let’s see how you’ll like it 😏
Feather is AWESOME🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🪽 Qualification: he’s the GOAT…and a goat. WOW!! 🐐

The big one seems like the best option, and the most fun to ride of course.
24:56 what i Just Heard 😂 diocane, cazzofai 😂😂😂 literaly It means : God dog, what fuc*k you do. Greatest joke on gcn ever
Fantastic; do it again!
Love it, great job
Dude is a beast, geez!!
17:01 I checked the original video and it just reached 102K likes. So... is Dan going to attempt the Scanuppia?
No rim tape needed….saves weight!!! You have got to do kidding🤣😍😍
24:56 😂😂😂 It did come unexpected

spinning out hahaha well done
That Brompton video is part of why I got one 😅
How are you getting on with your Brompton now? 👀
The hardest i have tried is the "Punta Veleno", from Porto/Castello, next to Lake Garda.
Freddy's gear choice is hilarious 😂 his rpm must have been through the roof
the only thing about Feather that annoys me is that his name is FEATHER !!! - why could it not be Andrew LEADWEIGHT
It proved again, engine is more important than the equipment!! ❤
Positively flabbergasted.. Must get a Brompton.
Máquinas ! 👏👏
In the last segment for the Alpe, please tell me his heart rate was not *actually* just 93bpm when averaging 390watts for 35minutes 😝
We can't tell you that we're afraid 👀
Amazing
Feather is amazing!
brits...snow capped mountains in background ...its hot...me in az 125f fk yeah lets pedal on a fixed gear....built different over here in USA
Be cool if GCN could get a climber from the World Tour for comparison.
He is as strong as an ox , unbelievable 👍👍👍👍
Wow, seems like AF’s Brompton has less than 25psi in that rear tire it almost bottomed out in a couple of frames…imagine how much faster he would have been if he had 60psi in those tires 😳
Feather's a machine!
I would definitely check the frame of that Italian...motor....
Any risk of trying shorted on one bike while the rest of the stable is longer?
Would it be possible to ride up Half Dome in Yosemite???? @gcn
Anyone have the strava link of that 2nd climb with the pinarello?
You guys should do a video with feather and Gaimon going head to head
Now that would be a battle 👀
next year we want to see andrew on the esine-pozza san glisente climb
Never mind all that ,when watching a maintenance video you did you said Never put the bike in the stand by the cross bar ..But there you are all sat on the cross bars & you weigh a hell of a lot more than your bike frames ..so there .😂
John Woodburn used to win open time trials on a Moulton Bicycle the same but no hinge.
You just made me almost want to buy an E-bike . lucky for myself Ive got no room to keep one.
The Andrew “The Twig” Feather marathon, yes!
100% rematch!!! Please 🙏
We need a video on Andrew’s secret jam sandwich recipe!
insanity!
is it true what Conor said once about Andrew that he only eats jam sandwiches? Just curious... Some more challenges with him and the incredible Illi Gardner would be awesome to watch.

Andrew is really a runner put on a bike!!!
I think that the delivery riders should have an identification number on there bags to identify the riders.
Same for all the hire bikes.
It will address some of the problems.
He's a phenomenon.
Be great to ride with feather but il face reality probably meet him In court much easier 😂
Legends
Interesting how Feather grows taller video after video
Climbing as well as headwind tends to form your character 😂😅
Hahaha we hear you there! 😂
Minuto 25:00 ❤
Is the heart rate monitor accurate? 70BPM at 375-400w seems impossible even for an elite cyclist.
No wonder it's coming to an end
I hope one day I can climb half as good he can, lol!
Рщц many gears does Bromton have?
So should I cancel the Diverge and get a E bike.
It's like riding in the Worlds steepest and biggest ski hill jump or ski flying hill
Don't forget, Feather might do 6.12 W/kg for 20 minutes, but Jonas does 6.9+ W/kg at a lighter weight
Jonas vs Feather... now that could be interesting!
Id like to see Feather vs Phil Gaimon.
il bandito...bwah!-ha! ha!
You gotta send him to Mt Washington
He doesn't need the seat post, that'll save a bit.
What a GIGACHAD
bromptom ad lol

This guy changed height more then weight😂… How tall is he now?
chamarel in Mauritius is harder
Well thanks colnago......does this means that my Rodaplana CR-MO Ishiwata 017 tube frame now is worth even more......wait....oh ok.....i need to make it look special by using marketing tecnhiques
Oh Ollie, getting dropped again! Just like yesterday! But different….
I’m sure I’ve seen this video before?
