The Power Probe is an essential Electrical Diagnostic Tool in my shop. It saves Troubleshooting time and makes it easier to pinpoint Electrical issues on all Makes and Models of vehicles. Thanks for demonstrating some of its capabilities. As a side note: Power Probe sells an attachment device that steps the Battery voltage down to (5) Volts. This is handy when you need to Troubleshoot the Five Volt Reference Circuit for Hall Effect Sensors etc.
Duane I really like your channel a lot and I'm trying my best to comprehend the knowledge you teach in your videos by watching the same videos over and over repeatedly but I have an undiagnosed learning disability where i have difficulties comprehending what I read, comprehending what I view and comprehending what I hear. Are you able to make videos teaching your knowledge to viewers who have learning disabilities? It would be a huge blessing!

Gotta love these seminars, with emphasis on basics. Since you and I started posting videos, the quality of videos on RUclips has changed a lot. You might think about updating your video camera, to get the kind of high definition we see everywhere. Almost nobody is posting in 480p any more. The content is brilliant, and your subscriber base is clear objective evidence of that.
the short answer is yes. We used to do it all the time. However these days most people replace the whole compressor. The reason is, if the clutch is bad the compressor is most likely worn enough to warrant replacement as well and avoid a comeback.

Great presentation, I did my AC compressor on a 04 CRV and it had a thermal switch before the AC clutch.
I have a A.S degree in electrical construction & maintenance & I can say you Explain this better than most of the instructors when I was in school 😀
