It’s not that bad man. I find healing completely depends on your group. I’ve done plus 12 keys where I have had to heal less than plus 4s. As long as your group is decent it’s very fun.

For the tree druid, i would love to see something like you target your tank and press the ability, it babysits the tank for 15-20 seconds and heal him constantly or something
When you use the ability to spawn them, this ability is targeted. The player you cast them on is always their priority healing target except someone drops below 50% while their target is above it. Spawning them with a enemy in target let them cast random as long as nobody drops too much. It’s smart casting just like Wild Growth picks its targets in raid.
holy priest is dope as fck, and (heres a tip) If u use Halo on CD you legit do 40% more dmg per dungeon run in total. My only issue with it is on higher keys, other class have higher healing output, more utility and more dmg. Just by a tiny amount. GJ wow for making such a enjoyable expansion.
Holy Pally is quite fun, in fact I'm strongly considering it as my main for TWW. I've tried Mistweaver, but it just feels clunky to me. Pres Evoker is pretty fun, but it can be complicated at times. Resto Shammy is somewhere in the middle of everyone. Disc is the ranged version of Mistweaver. Resto Druid and Holy Priest are both fun if you like those styles.
Man, Holy Paladin is fun with Holy Shock build and using Light of the Martyr. I'm nearly 100% instant cast healing popping people up to full. Waaaay more fun than chasing fat Holy Lights.
I've got a Preservation Evoker and an Affliction Warlock... This morning before work I made a Resto Druid and will be leveling that and giving it a go.
I think you should rank them based on maximum fun potential. Like I can take a lot of fun out of a lot of specs by just picking different talents, so saying "well this is less fun with the other hero tree so I'm gonna take an average" makes no sense to me.
Would it be possible to have timestamps? Not every healing class interests me (and maybe others) so it would be nice to jump to the points what I wanna watch :)
What i love about Restro druid is the fact you got "Melee" or "Ranged" mode. If you want to sit back, relax and heal then you go trees, but if you want a crazy high APM gameplay then cat is an option. I just hope both do well numbers wise

The least stressful and easiest heal to play is resto shaman with the totemic hero talent tree Alot of totem talents arent needed to get into healing with the shaman but if you feel confident anough you can choose to use them like i do. Shaman is easy for single target and groups as well The healer that does the most healing (and is quite fun) is pres evoker but you have to learn how to position yourself or you wont be able to heal your team😅
Still torn between H Pal, R Druid, and R Sham. Love them all. Love the HoT style of Druid. Love the totems for shammy and the visuals. And well pally is just a given.
This how trees work, when you use trees you pick a target that they swiftmend that target. Then they dance around and cast Nourish based on vibes (it's not a smart heal, they just throw it out randomly). They don't scale of Mastery. So, think of it as a party hot when the party is injured.
As a caster mistweaver monk, playing in the pre patch, the removal of essence font has really messed up my rotation. I used to cast a buffed essence font from thunder focus tea right before all aoe mechanics to have the hot rolling for the gust procs into a yu'lon. Essence font also helped me when yu'lon was on cd. Now I do nothing, and the group just takes a big chunk of damage. It was my pre plan if you know what I mean. I know people didn't like it but I did and i relied on it. I wish they didn't remove it
I really tried Paladin for a good while in DF. In m+ I could hold my own, but somehow it didn’t click for me in raids. Couldn’t get those AoE heals pumping. So I went back to my old love, Holy Priest. We will see how I’ll manage both in TWW 😉
Have played rest druid since wow came out. Never had a problem with it til dragonflight. It just has a really difficult time healing those huge damage spikes. I quit healing. But.... I enjoy mistweaver a lot. It has the big heals needed for those big damage spikes & it'll probably be my main healer in TWW. I enjoy the combat healing & it makes it useful. Could do with a combat rez tho.
What do healer mains do for world content? If i want to try maining Mistweaver Monk, i don't want to be switching talents. For me, it hurts the identity of the character.
I dunno man. I played Oracle Disc on the beta and thought it was sick. Prem is super powerful and feels dynamic and interesting to play around. I actually found voidweaver kind of boring because while it's insanely op it's just like "oh, I do a lot more dmg, okay" and what I really enjoy in a class/spec is diversity and utility over just "number go up".

The easiest heal to get into is the resto shaman with totemic hero talent tree Great group and single target heals with great optional utility for stuns, cleans etc
the holy paladin talk about holy lights etc issue, just return the old infusion of lights that gave it 0.5 sec casts which made it viable for quick heals

Yeah, you have to check something like: "Use raid style frames" when in edit mode. and then in settings interface go to raid frames and show class colors and ofcourse other options if you want like debuffs and resource.
i feel you on evoker...would be the perfect class. but i dont wanna play a dragon and i care too much about transmog. just because of that i can never main evoker....

I think they should give up the idea of disc priest heal doing damage because every healer must contribute with dps. They better make disc a dps spec support like augmentation evoker... how cool would be dps with shadow and buff pt with light
I dont understand all those negative comments about how healers are bad since some time. Yeah we have to deal dmg as well now but who likes to just stand around and wait till you have to heal? I always deal damage in between healing since its fun and helps me stay engaged in the fight. You still can use interrupts, stuns etc depending on wich heal you play. But still healing is still as fun as ever and i dont understand the hate What i agree on is that i dont understand why blizzard decides to make healing harder than it already was wich just lets people gravitate towards dps even more And yes its rare to find a really good healer but the learning curve is fun imo If its not for you and you have to complain about how bad healers are just stay a braindead dps xD

I know shamans will be meta but man i find the shaman gameplay boring as hell. I will main Holypaladin or preservation but with preservation i fear that in some situations i could struggle with the complexity of the class when the group is full of people that dont know how evoker works and on top of that i would compete on the partyslot with augmentation evokers. So i guess i start with pally and the evoker will my alt. For paladin they should make Flash of Light instant with a lightinfusion proc. Would much better suit melee playstyle.
The more boring the healer the better for me! But then I am a tank. If I am healing, then multiple people in my group are playing alts. This is entirely possible as we are a small group.
why no one is talking about 4 days early access for a game that we pay sub and buy new expansion if that was a free to play game that was understandable but for a sub game that sells expansions i am not going to play that anymore
Looks like VuhDu. That’s the one I use and has the boxes similar like that. Makes it so easy to setup the binds so you just have to hover over and press the key and it’ll go on that target
Probably holy paladin not gonna lie. I’ve recently started getting into healing after dps/tanking for years.. other than holy paladin, resto Druid springs to mind also. But has the added complexity of shapeshifting.
Yeah what is that nonsense. A healer should always be judged on it’s healing. It’s not even fun playing a bad version of a dps. If you play perfectly you’re last in dps maybe keeping up with the tank while the tank is doubling the healing. 😂
Of course healers are « judged » based on dps, keeping the group alive is a given. Who wants to sit around doing nothing (and spend their entire time looking at a ui) when you could dps and actually contribute during downtime. Also bad version of a dps ? They’re fun and engaging. Get up to date, this is not vanilla.

( as healer is not that fun to play wow now in arenas ) SO i did test holy priest in TWW and i don't get why u said only archon is fun not not Oracle , i think...why , because You did not plaid it at all , Just looking to the bonus effects Oracle gives more bonus heal and effects then Archon : Exempl+25% on PoM , extra PWS on PoM cast target ( optional ) instant Heal cast every 45 sec 2x ( by talents ) and Premonition bonus effects 140% ( if i get it right) . I dont know is a bug or not but in beta if i get interrupted by pvp player ,Halo's casting, couldn't cast for 1 min. ..so on pvp but on pve Holy Oracle i think is much more better , but sure , for Zoomers is just fun cast one big light thing around you :)))

I really hate what they have done to disc man, we should have never made them such damage dealers. We are healers, not dps. That gave way to making healers dps when they really want to just heal/support.

Passive Oracle buffs are really dope. Longer atonements, more damage, shorter cooldowns, and improved Word of Life realy helps with unexpected spikes.
Nobody is testing it enough on Disc spec, everyone fell on the voidweaver hero talent :s

Hpal is my current fav out of pres evoker rdruid and mistweaver. Pres evoker is fun but i think it being new to me is kinda killing it for me

This is just the game UI. They made it super customizable last expansion. You can unlock things and then move them and lengthen/resize things

Preservation may be good but wont be taken at high keys. Aug is insane right now and high keys wont take 2 evokers.

I used to main a healer for the first 3 expansions and really haven't had much fun on them since that shift. I'd rather just be an actual DPS if that's all the game cares about now lol

hey , looks like your rly enjoin , making fun about boomers :) well here I'm ! i just came back for few weeks and i tried out DF holy priest i got 1.9 rating on SS arena . ( as healer is not that fun to play wow now in arenas )
SO i did test holy priest in TWW and i don't get why u said only archon is fun not not Oracle , i think...why , because You did not plaid it at all , Just looking to the bonus effects Oracle gives more bonus heal and effects then Archon :
Exempl+25% on PoM , extra PWS on PoM cast target ( optional ) instant Heal cast every 45 sec 2x ( by talents ) and Premonition bonus effects 140% ( if i get it right) .
I dont know is a bug or not but in beta if i get interrupted by pvp player ,Halo's casting, couldn't cast for 1 min.
..so on pvp but on pve Holy Oracle i think is much more better , but sure , for Zoomers is just fun cast one big light thing around you :)))

"I think probably all resto shamans like totemic moreso than farseer" - lol no they don't. Check out Laren (probably the best m+ resto shaman in the world) on why he prefers farseer, before the tree was buffed. Seen quite a few top shaman prefer farseer and not chain heal auto spam

I really hate what they have done to disc man, we should have never made them such damage dealers. We are healers, not dps. That gave way to making healers dps when they really want to just heal/support.
