Filing a complaint against NYC TLC will get you nowhere and will only cost you more money. That department is ridiculously corrupt and loves messing with the drivers because that corruption has basically bankrupted them for years. Its a joke.

And because it’s a new traffic pattern they know people are gonna cheat and take that illegal short cut and they’re waiting there for you.

Go down to the TLC office and settle with them. They will give you a lower amount to pay and no points if the ticket indicates a point deduction. You can’t settle over the phone and online. Never pay online as someone told me because it’s all a money grab. All the best

Dam bro. Good luck w that ticket! They didn’t care about the registration anymore because they wanted you to leave so they could get another car. Messed up! If the city didn’t really want people in cars turning right on that street, they would’ve placed those 2 cops at the corner stopping car traffic from turning right. Or put BIGGER SIGNS. I’m getting sick and tired of NYC BS. I live in westchester county close to the CT border, and people are usually scared of the police up here if they are not from here, and tbh. Here is easy, do things right and you are ok, if you made a mistake like that, they will give you a verbal warning, not even written. 🤦♂️ Good luck down there.
