THANKS FOR WATCHING - Развлечения
Well to be fair as a current semi truck driver, former police officer I have seen quite a few crappy hot shot rigs. To be fair you guys look like you run a top notch operation. DOT is right to target hot shots it's alot more obtainable then running a semi o/p since you can get an old dodge for under 10k and a trailer for 6k. Also keep in mind a vast majority probably don't have a cdl. Props to you guys on the CDL's
Everything else guys you are right on point. If a company gives you a truck respect it and take care of it. Take pride in the truck, yeah she's gonna get dirty and may get a few dings she's a work horse but do your best.
Come on Bass Casting, Everyone knows Officers set up where they know they will get some tickets. That goes for any type of officer. They target the Hot Shotters because they are pretty sure they will find something and throw in the fact they are probably trying to frustrate them and run them out. Watching this video by these 2 guys makes me feel good about going into hot shotting because its much more affordable than getting a rig set up but on the flip side it makes me concerned about the DOT because number one, the tickets and the money lost present and future. throw in the fact I might be very TRUTHFUL to them if you know what I mean

Nothing in this video hit me untill the final 3 mins, freedom, getting away from clocking in at a 9-5, feeling happy to go to work everyday, hating being at work and can't wait to leave. That struck my sole.

What new drivers don’t realize is that this is a lifestyle not just a job .
I am researching starting in the HOTSHOT Business and I really appreciate the knowledge you guys are sharing. Big Thanks
These two guys are really teaching and they give a lot of free game ( information) that’s really needed!!!
I’m new in the hotshot business this year and I am learning a lot from these guys great job fellows 👏🏾
How’s it going 2024 ?
I feel like this hit home. Thank you for taking the time to not only film this content. But to edit original quality content into an entire storyline we can follow.
Y’all too real man, keep Grinding! Salute Kings, I’m on my way 💯🤞🏾
Love you guys…straight forward with the info. Been wanting to do hotshots for the longest. Thank you for all the info. Be safe.
I'm a 38-year-old truck driver myself class A CDL semi truck I think I'm getting ready to make the switch into hot shotting I just want to say I love seeing you and your pops out there doing your thing , I think it's pretty cool man !!
That last statement hit home the freedom is what u enjoy the most
Yo Bennii tell em, I’m say this and you know you have a great father take of em, I just lost mine and to see you like this brings me joy!!! I enjoy the content can’t wait for the Pete, I’m driver too, since 01!!! I love it!!! 🤟🏽👍🏽✌🏽🙏🏽
Ay man thanks for all y'alls honesty man im really looking into i appreciate yall blessings
love you guys man, you call the dot out for what it really is. i use to be a log truck driver from the pacific nw and they would target log trucks big time. never dump trucks or chip trucks just log trucks. keep the videos comin i really enjoy them.
Spot on. Thank you for this video. I’m retiring from the Army and this is my plan to Hotshot. I appreciate the info.
I'm not in the trucking industry, nor am I planning on, but I watch your vids. I love how you guys keep it real. Good sound advice. Keep it up.
One more thing:
As I look 20, 30 or 40 comments down, I don't see you guys replying to your audience. Always reply. Your audience keeps your channel alive.
You guys keep rolling and you'll be good. Great info guys and nice video. Be safe out there 🙏
You guys are AWESOME!! I appreciate the knowledge you guys are sharing
As semi driver I’m going to hotshot soon, I love the lifestyle and respect anyone I recommend getting your cdl
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I was just communicating this info to my guys!!! stop taking cheap rates!
I like how y’all come together and speak straight up facts ✊🏾💪🏾
By far one of the most upfront descriptive explanations about hot shot. I am thinking of going into this lifestyle after 21 years in the Army and I appreciate the openness and genuine support you had during this video. Thank you fellas I’ll be back for more.
I think right at the end of the video you summed it up perfectly. So many people think its like a get rich quick scheme and its not. Yes you can make significantly more money than your average 9-5job or what have you, but at the end if the day you are making a decent living and have a freedom that you didn't have before. Love the content you guys put out, keep up the great work. Stay humble and drive safe✌❤
It is not a quick get rich scheme but you will have freedom and make a lot more than any basic or entry-level job. How many jobs can you do right out of high school making really good money? Not Many
Thanks for sharing the info , I’m researching this as a side gig and this is pertinent information to have so you’ll
Succeed . 👍
Another great vid btw love seeing these notifications 😁👊
This video was very informative and full of the other side trucking…..
I'm trying to get into this game the right way...I respect you guys hustle...I can be an valuable asset to guys.
Bingo! You guys are so right.
🔥🔥🔥
I thank you very kindly for this video...... since I have been researching about this. Thank you for the trailer info also.
Man what you said at the end of the video is what I want in life
I have subscribed to your channel for learning purposes and I appreciate all the info from y’all! Currently looking into this business as my husband is trying to get his CDL (Not easy and expensive) and I’m looking into driving loads on a cargo van. Wish US luck and blessings that it all works out well for us. 😊
why get a cdl if your driving a cargo van? …just say in
My first time on y’all channel y’all taking real business I’m subscribing
TYSM for the advice guys. I am so grateful for this I am thinking to start a Hotshot here in the west coast.
I had a dispatcher and it didn't work out so now I'm doing it myself its a job on top of a job great video family
It’s about FREEDOM! You’re speaking my language. You have to enjoy it. And I know I would. I may go the box truck route I don’t know yet. Maybe even the semi route. Very hard to decide.
Great info guys
Thanks for the vlogs
I think it’s also worth mentioning this isn’t a side hustle or job for a lazy: you gotta hustle and work day and night sometimes. You gotta know how to do accounting and customer service and be a part time mechanic and everything.
Thanks for the heads up!
Appreciate the content! I’m a GA boy looking to get into the mix.
starting up the first week of October outta north Georgia. already got my dispatcher ready to go
This is so true. I drive tractor trailer and I can promise you that on I 77 the DOT in North Carolina absolutely love hot shots. The scale house at the Virginia North Carolina border is always full of hot shots getting inspected.
"I'm always on vacation"-Bennii
Put that on a t-shirt!!!
I know you brothers (Father and Son) have heard it time and time again, but thank you for the videos, advice and encouragement!
Enjoyed the video. I used to drive a Pete and it was good. But, DOT was hard. Was thinking about Hot Shot. Now, having 2nd thoughts. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are on point, I was on the load board today, and there were loads for a dollar per mile going to cali, and 8000 pounds and 30 length, I was laughing my ass off, let's make sure we keep does rates up. It is wild out here.
it is the same as the construction bussiness
And when people do run for low rates, just let them run themselves out of business
I saw a load last night for .02 a mile I called and it was not a typo
The shortage of trailers may also be do to all the new hot shot driver’s! I talked to a friend of mine with a Big Tex 40’ CDL trailer, he said he paid $8k cash in 2018! Now that trailer is $26k!!!!! He said these fools are crazy 😂😂😂😂
19500 dove tail
My 2021 diamond c was only 16.5$ fmax 212, 35+5
Literally bought my truck today (2021 Ram 3500) needed this to bring me off my high horse. Humbling. Thanks for the content guys!
I am in the market looking for a 3500
Love the info I’m looking to get into it and hustle
Pops got those adlibs on point 💪🏾. But I’ve been following y’all for years. Finally ready to make that jump and get my Dually and 40ft Gooseneck. Trucks are so high so I had to save for a couple years to get the down payment money. Also looking into getting a grant or two to help get the trailer and the necessities for the trailer! Any tips on grants and authority or lease on to someone??
Thanks, good info guys...That's Bull about targeting...needs to stop///keep on truckin'
THANK YOU GUYS for the info you’re sharing. I’m a new B CDL holder (1 year) and I’ve only driven school bus & currently a Motorcoach Operator. I’m currently looking into becoming an a Owner Operator to do Hot Shot for myself. I watched the video with your dad & the 3 options for doing Hot Shot. With that being said would the safe & smartest option for someone new to the business be to go in with my own pick up & trailer to work for someone else until I fully grasp what’s needed before I attempt to go out on my own?
Great video, keep up the good work
Always good stuff bud. The only hot shot that I know who is getting rich is tow piglet... but you're stuff it right now
Thanks for the video! I am considering starting toward the end of spring hotshotting. I currently work in sewer, I am a class 2 operator, around April I’ll have my class 3’s. But I am getting tired of getting sprayed with raw sewage every day. I have worked the dock for YRC, and XPO Logistics, and have my Class A CDL’s, are you taking on any new drivers? I am looking to take a small business loan out to get started so I can get a used truck, and used trailer with mega ramps so I can haul freight, and vehicles. I would appreciate your opinion on this, and if your taking on new drivers.
i just got my LLC for my hotshot use to drive a semi im looking for my simple life this will be a tought game to do but thanks for the info you shared
Booyah 👊🏽😁, Hotsquad
Great great great video boss!! very informative
Thanks
Best information I found so far thanks
Good information! Thanks!
LOVE THESE GUYS
Thanks!!! Trying to leave corporate at 49 now... need freedom!!!!!
You guys motivate me.
Im glad
Thank you people for this very detail video.I am semi truck driver but i was thinking to get into hotshot business .Good info don't stop.P/S i have different skin color but, the way you talk I LOVE YOU.
Great Video. Just make sure that you follow all of the FMCSR. Just
because you aren't required a CDL doesn't mean that you're exempt from
the FMCSR. If you have a DOT Number you have to adhere to all of the
regulations.
Yea my truck broke 4months in the game had to get a brand new truck so im behind the 8ball big time right now but im still pushing forward
Mine did too, right there with you but remaining positive I'd succeed
Good video guys give you respect for true information 👏
I was talking with TX DPS troopers one day and we were discussing trucking. They told me they go after hotshots over semis because it's easier all around.
I live in Wills Point, Tx where they build the Big Tex Gooseneck trailers. There are hundreds of trailers sitting in their yard. Probably half are missing the decking.
Commenting to come back after work to ask questions
Commenting to follow comment thread lol
Thank you both for all of the quality info! I am currently working on getting my CDL and take up hot-shotting within the next 2 yrs. What is your personal expectation in the rates once the new CLP/CDL requirements kick in in Feb 2022? Do you see any shortage in drivers within the next 5-10 yrs?
Thank you guys God Bless
Very inspirational,,,I would love to get into this!!!
If you need a truck at your disposal affordable and efficient managerial services.
That's my m a i l address above ,do ensure to reach out.
Super Honest and I agree... DOT WTF??? Thanks for the info folks
Great video with information I hope I can use! I am set to retire from my current job June 2024. I am sure that Hot Shot is my next move so I am following your videos. Thank You for the solid advice.
Same here. I retire from the Navy in Aug 2023 so I'm getting started as well. Seems like the way to go. 🤜🏼🤛🏾
i love vids like this
Thanks to you and your dad for the information about hotshoting. I plan to buy a truck this month, and start pulling for Indiana Transportation.. Pulling RV's, if you have any insight that you could give me I would be thankful... Barrett & Barrett Transportation
This happened in lawn care few years ago I was cutting yards at $60-65 bunch of guys with trailers and trucks came out here low balled the market now the same yards are now going for $25-30
Exactly why I'm getting out of it
My Man POPS you the Man Brother
@0:01 Fam that intro was on some Nas sh!t 🔥🔥🔥
@01:43 If most of the Hotshot O/Ops stand up they can really change the game. Stop taking low rates and get money. It's a shame how O/Ops don't know this by now🤔
I'm in a 18 wheeler and I know a dollar a mile is no money. Stay bless ✌🏾
Thanks to you guys And another hot shots channels i star My hotshot I just realize that this shit is harder than what you guys put it on the videos and I think you guys need to put all the struggle all the driving and frustration Happened in this business.
Thanks for the video a little bill too late for me but probably somebody else is going to think twice before they came to this business . I got my set up for sale if somebody is interested 2021 Chevy and 40 trailer. Only 2 months in business.
I’m interested in the 40 ft trailer
I’m interested in the setup
The weak will always make room for the strong. Probably didn’t have the right mindset, heart, and dedication needed to succeed. Was looking for a get rich quick play. It was on you to do your own due diligence before jumping in, not from a RUclipsr to tell you, SMH.
You can definitely be home more often and STILL make good money!
This has been my biggest apprehension about getting into the hotshot business. I’m really considering getting my Class A and driving Semi
Sorry sir Semi truck driving isn't good right now you been warned especially if you have a Family
Semi driving is always a good business to get in always. Just better start with a good company
@@MOURDEEP1 besides home time, why would you say it isn't good right now?
Truck prices are up too. And dealers aren’t giving rebates either.
You guys rock.
Iron Bull and Diamond C trailers are the best in the game. Ford trucks are also the way to go, just so you know. Very easy on fuel, that F450 is a beast. 19.5 tires from the factory, 37k towing. The only thing I’d say is recalibrate the transmission at 65-70k.
Realest video I’ve seen
Left the army and went to get my CDL. I drove for a few months then decided to pop over to Florida. I’ve been a full time student since but I’m thinking of double dipping here and getting back to driving. Just ain’t sure yet
O O I DA LAWER UP! Put that sticker on the sides of your Truck🤯
You’re inspiring all these ppl to be hotshots, and most likely they’re the ones taking cheap freight.
Some of them won’t be around for too long it cost money to operate and cheap freight won’t get you far
You should invest in the Freightliner sport chassis. If end up going that route that’s the truck I want to use for hotshot deliveries. By all means I’m not telling you what to do. You have way more experience than I do. I’m just thinking about doing hotshot deliveries as well.
Yes sirrrr 🤘🏾🔥
I’m doing alot of research on hotshotting I still like it
I'm running a `1999 F350 with a 7.3 superduty. NO ELD, paperlogs all the way.
I love u guys. 💓
We love you too
For the freedom I think it’s worth
Solid information
“PICKUP TRUCK” 😂😂😂
good show thank you.
See you on the road brothers
Been in law enforcement for 29 years and DOT does the most profiling of any branches. Its a shame yall dont have a national hotshot lobby outfit to fight the profiling of hotshots. Damn yall have video evidence and all they have to check is the ratio of 18 wheelers to hotshots.
We all need to come together an stand up to dot, need to start a Petition !
I'm new, but you're right, rates are shit, no one will even negotiate as someone else will come along and take it, if not even bid less
How do you great the great videos outside your truck while driving down the road? So Cool
