This commercial actually terrified me so much, as a tiny child, that my mom had to hide the bottle of Prell before I'd go in for a bath. If she didn't and I saw it, I'd cry. 🤣
Reminds me of the film Zardoz with Sean Connery. Think it came out the same year 1972 or 73 one of those Maybe Prell campaign the film with this commercial
Thank you! This commercial showed up in a list of creepy commercials in another video and was dated 1963. I knew that couldn't be correct because color was not common for a few more years. I was trying to track it down and I knew I recognized the one in the middle. She would have been 18 in 1963. She's definitely older in this commercial.
It's like the Greek myth of the Sirens, beautiful women whose haunting voices lured sailors to smash their ships on the rocks, trying to reach them.
I bet you, whoever came up with this commercial experienced ASMR at some point during their life.
Yeah, because everyone has it’s literally just soft speaking

"Tiny child." So cute 😭✨️
Strange how they thought that nightmares would be a good way to sell shampoo.
Oh my god the voice at like 0:19 sounds just like the one from possibly in michigan

Why

"possibly in michigan" vibes
Exactly and Possession 1981 vibes too
To be more precise, the way Margie talked
they make me calm, i wanna try that shampoo :)
The middle woman, I believe, is Maud Adams, who would go on to star in two James Bond movies among other films.

All three needed a nice cosy bed to lie on showing their lush hair
"It looks like a trap"
"Let's walk into it" 😅
Am I the only one who actually thought this was hilarious. The way they talk, and the intonation makes me chuckle. Maybe my sense of humor is broken?
Clearly not a witch coven vibes
✨️Aesthetic ✨️
