Good job seems
Like a nice little tractor
So far so good! Thanks for watching
Yes, that is a preheat when it’s really cold. That light will come on and it warms it up for a couple seconds. Great video. Enjoy watching them play John Deere looks like it’s doing a excellent job. 👍
Appreciate you watching buddy!
@@khtractors no problem buddy keep the videos coming 👍
You're a brave fellow.
This is mild compared to other places I’ve been with 2 wheel drives. Thanks for watching
Outstanding Green Tractor at Work Sir Cheers 👌👌👍👍💪💪😇😇🍻🍻
Thanks Dave!
Good times!!!
Thanks
Great job. That was a challenging task, grading that slope with a 2 Wheel Dr.Ive
Thanks buddy!
Yes it does have a preheat system push in on the key
It’s actually computer controlled based on temperature. Thanks for watching
You have to push the key in, then turn it backwards for preheat. Hold it there for 10 to 30 seconds depending on how cold it is.
According to the book this one is computer controlled according to temperature. That light I saw was the grid heater heating. Appreciate the help though. Thanks for watching
That's called working smarter not harder, thanks for the videos Ben.
Appreciate you watching!
On my 3025e the glow plug light only comes on when it’s cold enough to need it. Most of the time, I never see the light but in below freezing weather, it will come on when I turn the key on then go off when it’s ready to start.
Yes same here. This was the first time seeing the light. Thanks for watching
TIM from Canada weather check….34 ….F…..Fahrenheit….is 1.1 C…. Celsius… Canadian weather
We had a warm day here today, probably up near 50. Over all it’s been a mild winter for us. Thanks for watching!
Trying to figure out if that hood is plastic. Looked like the green piece surrounding the gauges is plastic. No idea why they wouldn’t stick with steel, I don’t like the plastic on tractors.
Also what RPMS are they recommending you to run so you don’t have regen issues?? I’d be removing all of that emissions crap as soon as I know she’s reliable. Don’t want to do it too till after the warranty is over.
We had steep wooded areas and 2 wheel drive tractors growing up and we always kept the front end up hill and did alot of backing up to do work and hook to logs and trees as well. Great video!
2 Wheel drives can do a lot of work if you know how to work them to your advantage. Thanks for watching
They have definitely inproved the cold starting over the 5065E I was considering back in 2010. That one did not have any kid of "heat" to help start it and I thought it wasn't going to keep running.
The grid heaters are excellent for cold starts, much better then glow plugs. Thanks for watching!
Ben you have the book
That John Deere done a great job. Seems like it has plenty of power
It’s doing good! Thank You
You're welcome
Happy Thanksgiving buddy hope everything is going well👍
Happy Thanksgiving to you! Appreciate you watching
@@khtractors no problem buddy can’t wait to see when you get the wheel weights on the John Deere should be interesting You will notice a difference and you know you operated a lot of tractors in your time, but great video.👍
The John Deere did great job Ben and you did too as always I think y’all made great choice and y’all are going to happy it anything you don with
I’m feeling really good about the tractor! Thanks for watching
Ben, the lighting was fine. I am always worried that the 3pt is not designed to push but mainly pull. But with a box or rear blade I do both directions as required. You give me confidence that it is OK to do this (in moderation).
I understand your concern. With sway chains you’ll bend arms when pushing hard in reverse. With the more rigid sway bars like the Deere and Kubota both have of mine it’s not as much of a risk. They prevent the arm from flexing either direction where chains only pull against the arm. Thanks for watching
That Tractor does a great job for a 2 Wheel Dr., another great video!👍🏻
Really appreciate that!
I have a 4310 and if I turn the key to the first position to the right I push in key to activate the heating aid for starting in cold weather. I hold key in for about 20 seconds then start tractor. Looks like yours is the same way.
This key doesn’t push in. I read in the boom where you turn it to on and watch for that light, then start after it’s off. The computer senses the ambient air temperature. Thanks for watching
Nice job Ben, it’s still weird seeing you on the Green Tractor 😉🤣, It’s a nice looking tractor 👍🏻. I think the yellow was is for the glow plugs 🤷🏼♂️. Have a great one Ben 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
It’s weird walking in the shop and seeing a green tractor also. But so far it’s doing pretty good. Thanks for watching
That’s a super nice looking tractor!!!
Appreciate it!
Hey Ben. For a green tractor, I really like it! LOL. It did a good job on those steep hills and rocks. Looks like some nice firewood in that area.
Green tractor, I’m still adjusting to that myself. Appreciate you watching buddy!
Getting it done in 2wd!! Yeehaw! Great video!
Appreciate you Logan!
Awesome job Ben !!! That’s a nice looking John Deere
Appreciate you buddy!
@@khtractors you’re welcome Ben and has it gotten colder out y’all’s way??
@@tucksmith8300 we had several really cold days. It wasn’t as bad today.
@@khtractors it got up to 58 degrees today here in Mechanicsville
Nice job Ben! Didn't seem like the JD had any problems cleaning up the path. That's a pretty steep hill and a beautiful one at that.Looks like you were having fun this morning.Have a blessed day, take care and be SAFE.🚜👍👏❤️🙏
It’s doing well! Thanks for watching buddy!
Great job Ben 👍
Appreciate it!
Very good.
Sure is easier to pull up a hill than backup one
It definitely is! Thanks for watching
Good blading job and that’s a strong blade. JD is fine and the front end stayed right on the ground-the bracket and weight help too of course. We used to say that it wasn’t steep until “she got up and walked like a man and you steer with the brakes” (yep, that’s pretty silly and unsafe). Good job!
That is a really good blade for sure! I can definitely tell the weights help. Thanks for watching
Another great job ! I believe you all are going to enjoy the John deere. Hope you have a blessed day enjoyed the video
Really appreciate you watching!
Yep ya can't back uphill with a 2wd cause the tires are directional & made for pulling foward
Tires are directional and you have all that front weight pulling on you. Thanks for watching
Good job Ben, I think that the John Deer will do just about anything that you need for it too, nice video.
It’s proving out pretty good! Thanks for watching
Looks good Ben. We hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Have a great day, stay safe and may God bless…
Happy Thanksgiving to you also! Thanks for watching
JD does well in everything you have used it for so far Ben. If at any point you become disappointed in it Ben, you can always donate it to someone who could put it to work…..perhaps me lol! Ben I love your channel and what you stand for! Have a safe and blessed Happy Thanksgiving! God bless my friend!
Happy Thanksgiving to you! Thanks for watching
Good looking tractor, the John Deere E series pre-heater come on automatically when you turn the key switch on
Yeah it senses the ambient temperature as to if it needs preheat. I ended up looking it all up after this. Thanks for watching
I still don't understand why you won't use the Kubota with the front blade installed instead of backing down through those trees
Because I didn’t want too!
Can you turn the key to the on position and then push it in? I believe that is how to pre heat that tractor
No I researched it after the video. The computer controls the grid heater according to the ambient air temperature. Thanks for watching!
@@khtractors cool deal. I love your videos. That John deere is a nice edition to the fleet. I've a kubota m7060 myself. I'm about 3 hours east of you in va.
@@Matt-cv6ow the Kubota M series tractors are in my opinion the best tractor out there right now. Take care!
Turn the key a little bit an push it n to heat
The key pushes in but it doesn’t do anything. It’s controlled by the computer based on ambient air temperature. Thanks for watching
I know the E is an economy model; no frills, but it looks like ya got a rear remote, maybe a hydraulic top link will be under the Christmas tree this year. 😉😉
Yeah it comes standard with one remote, that’s a must have for us now. Thanks for watching
Hope you don’t tear it up! 😊
Don’t plan it, but you never know! Thanks for watching
