Looks Cool... I'd Run a Bracket Off That Back Plate To Mount The Turn Signals and Would Make Them Even... I Have a 2003 V Rod Custom 300 Rear Very Similar 💥💥🇺🇸💥💥
I'm looking to do similar work to my scout as well, where did you buy your kits from? looking for that same front fender you have and maybe a rear one too.
Front fender is stock, although I don't have it on the bike now. I didn't buy any kits. Just removed the rear sub frame and made the cover to hide the battery.
Hey. Very nice video. I'm from sc as well but my question is that I'm taking the motorcycle classes in January but far as my first bike I was thinking about the bobber. What's your thoughts on that or should I get the scout or scout 60 instead being that it will be my first bike. Fyi I'm 6'1 in height
I took the rider safety course which I found very beneficial. My first bike was a HD Nightster (1200). Everyone told me not to get the 883 as I would soon regret it. I took the same principle when getting my first Scout. Unless you are on a tight budget, go with the regular scout. As far as your height, you should be fine. Some taller people look a little too big for a Scout, I'm 5'10. The Scouts are very easy to handle as they have a very low center of gravity. They have plenty of torque, and are fun to ride. In short, regular Scout or Bobber all the way!
@@oxouk thanks for that info. I was thinking about the 883 or the honda shadow phantom as well but I was getting the same info as you was(even tho I think the shadow phantom look great). But yes the only time I learn on a bike was on a Suzuki gsx 250 which was a few times but I dont care for a sport bike at all just wanted to learn the basics before I take the classes lol.
K Harris I just finished my riding course and got my certificate this week and bought my first bike which is a 2012 Harley 883. Very happy for my first bike, but my goals to get an Indian scout bobber once I get bored of this one. I just couldn’t justify buying an Indian scout or bobber as my very first bike Incase 1 I dropped it or 2 if I didn’t even like riding. Tomorrow’s the big day where I get my license stamped and I can hit the roads legally! I’ve been riding around my block the past two weeks.

Nice Scout brother!
Neat work nice bike ,stepson has the bobber and we talk of doing this.Badass look
Now it looks badass!
How in the hell does this have any thumbs down? That bike looks sick!
Sick Bobber!
I like this style
very cool, I ride a HD FLSTC but thinking of a Bobber
Turned out great! Nice DIY. Save a good amount I bet vs the tank machine kit
Thanks Jay. I really liked the Tank Machine plate. Just too rich for my blood.
Someone needs to make a mini rear render for this bike

Not a bad idea. I like it.

Jamie VanDalen There is a part one. Just click on my user name.

Bikes looks incredible!! Did the seat come from Indian? If not may i know where you purchased it from?
The seat is the Indian 1920 solo saddle seat from the Indian dealership.
Left side is out further because the shock needs to clear the drive belt.

nice. hope you don't ride in the rain
Nice! But wouldn't all the road debris splash on your back? I can tell from experience.
When it rains yes, so you either don’t ride in the rain or pay the price.
How did you paint the Indian wording on the tire and what paint did you use.
Just used a paint pen from an arts and craft store. It's kinda tedious to do to be honest.
Dude I’m in Charlotte, do you think you can help me with the 240 rear tire change?
I can walk you through it
Nice bike what size is your rear tire
That was the stock 150/80/16.
Do you guys still have the rear sub frame that was removed? I need to purchase one.
I sold mine, but you can buy it new from cheapcycleparts.com. $404.99, part #5140981-626
@@oxouk Thanks much! I was looking to spend no more than half that but at least I know I have options in case I can’t find one used. 😉
