    Nice bike but personally I would rather get a naked bike than turning my bobber into a sport bike hybrid. It looks good though and I wanted to go this route too. That's until I got my scout 20. Now I am just getting a slip on exhaust, the pathfinder headlight and a a black heat shield to replace the chrome. Those are probably the only mods I am doing to the bike. Then again it's only been a week so I doubt that's the case

    Hey, great video. I am looking seriously at the RC Components 240 kit. If possible can you tell me the dimensions of the spacers used behind the drive sprocket, the axle and the suspension to fit the wheel? I think you have done an excellent job and I am looking to replicate a similar look, mine will have a short rear fender, just because I like the look.

    • @oxouk
      @oxouk  4 года назад +2

      I don't know the dimensions, however, RC will include 2 washers and an axle spacer, then you'll use 2 existing spacers from your stock wheels. The drive sprocket is 36mm. Instructions come with the wheel.

    Why not just take off the original indian emblem, paint it and put it back on?

    • @oxouk
      @oxouk  3 года назад +1

      You can do that, but they are held on with 3M tape. When you remove them, you damage the tape. You can re apply 3M, but spending the time to cut, trim, and risk it not looking right, in my opinion, is not worth it. The new emblems are cheap. Sometimes I prefer to work smarter, not harder.

    Did you have to make any fitting modifications to the Dirty Bird Concept radiator cover?

    • @oxouk
      @oxouk  3 года назад

      No, very straight forward, however the mesh behind the cover attaches with self tapping screws, but they will back out. I recommend using screws along with a high strength adhesive.

    • @petevasquezjr
      @petevasquezjr 3 года назад

      @@oxouk The reason I ask is because mine has gaps on the side and I was told by a representative of Dirty Bird Concepts that I would need to shave some material of from the sides to custom fit it. I personally don't think that's going to close the gaps due to the pilot holes in the radiator cover being too far forward preventing me from pushing it closer to the frame and needing material to be sanded off from the sides. I was told to take it to a professional to have it installed. Not the answer I was looking for from Dirty Bird.

    • @oxouk
      @oxouk  3 года назад

      @@petevasquezjr Sounds a little extreme. I would get a drill and stretch out the bottom pilot holes. Push the cover against the bike and tighten down the screws. Let me know if that works.

    • @oxouk
      @oxouk  3 года назад +1

      It came with a 50" samsung I bought a couple years ago. You could buy a strip of metal from Lowes, bend the ends in a vise, drill two holes, then paint it black, unless of course you buy the wall mount as they usually have extra pieces for different mounting applications.
