Your bike is one of the main reasons I ended up getting the thunder black bobber rather than the flat black one I originally wanted & I couldn’t be happy. Love the gloss now
Sweet. I’m currently getting my 240mm from rc components installed at this very moment. I can’t wait til I get it back. I have the 2019 Indian scout bobber ABS in matte black
Stumbled on to this and I’ve got to say that is one good looking bober . I never listen to the haters either enjoyed looking at your remarkable build. Keep on doing what you do !!!!
Shocks were on back order for months when this video was made. I now have the k tech razor shocks. Check out my recent videos and you’ll see. Thanks for viewing.
Nice bike but personally I would rather get a naked bike than turning my bobber into a sport bike hybrid. It looks good though and I wanted to go this route too. That's until I got my scout 20. Now I am just getting a slip on exhaust, the pathfinder headlight and a a black heat shield to replace the chrome. Those are probably the only mods I am doing to the bike. Then again it's only been a week so I doubt that's the case
How hard is it to keep the front radiator clean given the abbreviated front fender? Do you have any issues with mud now that the rear fender has been removed? Lastly, is the solo seat comfortable, and is it noticeably higher than the factory default seat? Thanks!
I keep hearing about problems with this model like ABS problems Aaron lines etc I really want this bike so I am curious how long have you had yours and if you have any issues your bike is gorgeous
Thomas Waibel I had a 2017 Scout. I had problems with noise and vibration from the front rotor, but they solved it. I have had zero issues with my Bobber. I highly recommend it.
Another great video... I have the Bobber Twenty. Getting the exact same exhaust this week. You mentioned baffles... I just need clarification. Do these even have baffles? Because I’ve heard them, and they are very loud. Just didn’t understand what you were saying... people asked you to remove them? Or if you removed them? Cam baffles be added? Thanks again! Love the bike.
Ronnie garcia I mentioned it in reference to a viewers comment. I also know nothing of any baffles, and didn’t remove or install any. These are loud but not obnoxious.
“Rectangle Motorcycle Mirrors For Harley Cruiser Bobber Chopper Softail Sportster“ Type this into Ebay. Remember though, I fabricated the original bar end mounts onto these mirrors and did not use the mounts/stems that came with these.
Hey, great video. I am looking seriously at the RC Components 240 kit. If possible can you tell me the dimensions of the spacers used behind the drive sprocket, the axle and the suspension to fit the wheel? I think you have done an excellent job and I am looking to replicate a similar look, mine will have a short rear fender, just because I like the look.
I don't know the dimensions, however, RC will include 2 washers and an axle spacer, then you'll use 2 existing spacers from your stock wheels. The drive sprocket is 36mm. Instructions come with the wheel.
looking at the scout for first bike...I have limited riding experience ...its been over 10 years sine I rode a bike...Is this size rear tire difficult to get used to for someone with limited experience? I love the look and got to have it one day! Thanks
You can do that, but they are held on with 3M tape. When you remove them, you damage the tape. You can re apply 3M, but spending the time to cut, trim, and risk it not looking right, in my opinion, is not worth it. The new emblems are cheap. Sometimes I prefer to work smarter, not harder.
No, very straight forward, however the mesh behind the cover attaches with self tapping screws, but they will back out. I recommend using screws along with a high strength adhesive.
@@oxouk The reason I ask is because mine has gaps on the side and I was told by a representative of Dirty Bird Concepts that I would need to shave some material of from the sides to custom fit it. I personally don't think that's going to close the gaps due to the pilot holes in the radiator cover being too far forward preventing me from pushing it closer to the frame and needing material to be sanded off from the sides. I was told to take it to a professional to have it installed. Not the answer I was looking for from Dirty Bird.
@@petevasquezjr Sounds a little extreme. I would get a drill and stretch out the bottom pilot holes. Push the cover against the bike and tighten down the screws. Let me know if that works.
Nice, it’s what I’m doing at the moment on mine. But Not only am I installing the regular scout headlight bucket but I’m also lifting it up more to where the Indian cover usually is that covers the wire harness.
It came with a 50" samsung I bought a couple years ago. You could buy a strip of metal from Lowes, bend the ends in a vise, drill two holes, then paint it black, unless of course you buy the wall mount as they usually have extra pieces for different mounting applications.
how comfortable is that seat? i've been looking into them. i have the stock comfort seat for now and it's ok at best. after a couple hours it's uncomfortable.
@@oxouk jajaja, ok , thanks , you reconmend them to me, they sound good, I don't want something very noisy. I love your bike look Man, for you first videos Fender delete i buy my indian Scott bobber, I live in Argentina and it is very expensive here. Thanks
In my opinion, I'd say yes, but then again, how many times have you seen a guy 5' 4", 140lbs in a jacked up truck with 35" tires. At the end of the day, if you are comfortable, get what you want.
G Rose I put the front fender back on because I really liked the war bonnet. As far as Instagram. I deleted it. I have enough to keep up with and frankly just didn’t have enough input to keep it interesting.
oxouk can you tell me where you got your mods specifically? I want a similar seat, plate, and tail lights. Maybe exhaust, but you said it was difficult. Is that front wheel stock size or wider?
G Rose front wheel and tire are stock. Exhaust is straight from Manufacturer, mirrors, tail lights, plate mount, fender delete plate are all modded by me, so you can’t buy exactly what I have. My other video’s give you insight how to make these mods. Seat is stock but taken to upholsterer for the red stitching.
Those mirrors are awesome, and in the same breath… they look like shit. How is that not a production mirror. Love the look, but the self modification and cutting is awful and leaves a lot to be desired 😔
it would be nice to see some riding footage. can't wait to see how it looks on the road
This 👆🏾
same here, the bike rolling is what makes of breaks the mods
Agreed! You mentioned a drone following you as you rode the bike to see it in action. Looking forward to that video.

You did an outstanding job. I made some of the same modifications as yourself, but you’ve definitely done more and have a lot of respect.
You knocked it out of the park!!! Now i know what to strive for! Cheers from Canada!

All that great work and you kept the crappy shocks!!!

Sweet Ride my brother, can't wait to buy my bike to convert it
Great bike!! On of the best i have seen. Thank you for sharing!!
Great looking Bobber and I plan on picking up a slightly older Scout and adding some of the mods you've done.
Thanks for the great videos. I'm modding my 2021 Indian Scout now with ideas from what you have done! Very helpful.
Thanks for watching. I’m glad you’ve found my videos helpful.
Really beautiful bike, luv the mods you chose
Nice bike. I'll make a video after I chop one up!

the most sexiest indian scout build
Wow está moto es única, realmente hermosa obra de arte. 💪💪
If only the fork lock actually came on the Canadian model of the scout. Either way, your bike looks great! cheers

What a great looking bike! I wonder if removing the front fender would add to the bobber look? Either way, nice job!!!

It’s been seven months bro, please ride it
LOL, I know man, I need to get off my ass and do it already. I'll have a riding video this month for sure. No more excuses.
I wanted to remove my rear fender, but it just rains too much in south Florida
Hello wanted to know If I'm able to add a passenger peg using this exhaust ?
How hard is it to keep the front radiator clean given the abbreviated front fender? Do you have any issues with mud now that the rear fender has been removed? Lastly, is the solo seat comfortable, and is it noticeably higher than the factory default seat? Thanks!
No remap or retune with the aftermarket exhaust?? Any problem? Codes or anything?
100% trouble free. Just bolt on and let her rip.
Could you list all the links please. Thanks

No, but a replacement fender is available with the 240 kit.
