Wow ultra hold mini tape held for couple weeks? The tape starts loosening at my hairline after a few days; not sure if it's because I have hair still growing underneath though?
Hey jake, bout to get a hair system but my hair on the sides are really fine and thin, and I have retrograde alopecia as well. Can you do a video on how to match your hair texture and volume to the system and maybe how to style it with thinning sides? Also is there a certain way you should order the system? Maybe 80% density instead of 100? Thanks for all you do
I have retrograde as well. It’s a tough hurdle to get over with a system, as it does impact the believability a lot. My advice is keep your hair a bit longer on the sides and go for a system length of medium-long. I have a light density unit of 90%. You can make it work, but unless you get a transplant or SMP it’ll never look 100% natural with defused thinning on sides. Another word of advice, people will be accepting of your system to the degree you exude confidence and joy. Trust me, I’m living it.
@@jeff-li2ck thanks, do you keep it 1-2 inches on the sides or around what length? I want to get a cut that lays forward and covers some/most of the hairline especially for my first one, and have it be fairly long on top. I still have a decent head of hair but it's going fast so want to get out in front of it and make the transition less noticeable even though I plan on being honest about it if people ask
@@JS-cf2li I totally understand what you’re going for. Great move for your first style. For the sides, go however short it takes to mask the texture difference. But be mindful that the shorter you go on the sides, the higher the exposure of the retrograde A. That hairstyle might not work for you. You might need to go longer on sides and try to match the texture. But hey, experimenting is part of the journey. you never know until you try
@@jeff-li2ck totally get it. I'm def not opposed to longer sides I'm just excited to have a longer hairstyle again as I've had it short for so long. I've always looked better with longer hair in my opinion so I'll just have to play and see what works. I've kinda accepted it may not look fantastic at first but I'll get better over time
Hello, new subscriber here. I have a question regarding traveling to other countries and having to show your passport with an old photo of being bald and now you have a hair system on your head. Were there any problems that you or anyone else encountered when facing foreign customs or immigration officers? Do they pull you over to the side for further questioning? I haven't seen this particular situation addressed here or any other forum.
Hey Jake. Was wondering, what color are you with lavivid? I’m a number 5 and noticed that it has green tint to it. I emailed them and they said this is the case with 5 and 4. Has that been your experience?
I don't know if you're still doing skin care but make sure to wear sunscreen when you're going outside! It's more important than anything else you can do for your skin
You look great and I like this hair style on you very much! Love the stories about the trip and good to know the adhesive held.
Your hair really looks on point in this video.

How do you keep your hair looking so healthy and shining?

I agree a video on specifics for this scenario would be useful for a lot of people
