Thank you for sharing!! So helpful!! I am 79 yo retired teacher/counselor and have a very sick hubby requiring lots of help. It is HARD. The hardest thing I have ever done is taking care of him. I let debt take over, now I am getting control. Your positive attitude really speaks to me. Changing money habits starts with your heart. I can see daylight! I will be debt free by next Christmas. Again, thank you😁❤️👍
@@2SisterBees For me, too! Isn’t attitude so important?! I appreciate your expertise…I have paid off $25,000 in credit card debt, and have $12,000 to go. The burden is already so much lighter. Success leads to more success, it encourages you to keep on keeping on. Merry Christmas😁❤️🎄
I had to say no to a wedding as it would mean travel costs, accommodation costs, outfits (I literally have no dressy clothes) for myself and son, drinks money etc, I chose me and my finances for once and it felt really good ❤
Oh I LOVE your comment. Thank you for sharing it. I know that was probably really hard to decline the invite. I think we all need to say out loud. “I can do hard things!” I am so proud of you for doing a hard thing! 👏💛⭐️🐝
@2SisterBees it was! we were given three months notice (one of which December so all funds are for Christmas) to find the funds and I was initially going to do it but had a word with myself and knew 'no' was the right thing to do
My goal for 2025 is to stick to my budget and get my debt paid off before I retire in a couple of years. I just printed your free packets. Thank you so much for sharing your struggles and your solutions.
Since watching your videos for now 2 years I have had many setbacks ir reajustments with my budget. TODAY for the first time I have finished xmas shopping early and planned it through the year...yes that means I have even bought xmas gifts in June for a special friend or a family member....but I NEVER bought a gift without having money in my XMAS envelope.. win win ...sorry credit cards I only buy my gits with cash😅 Feling soooooo relaxed ms stress free this year....sure there is still a gift or two to buy but they are all planed ahead. Little side note: I EVEN BOUGHT A XMAS GIFT IN JAN 2024! ON SALE! 🎉😊😊😊😊😊
There are few times that i am grateful for food intolerances, very few actually, lol. Saving money by not eating out is one of those times. I ha ent been thru a drive thru for food in over a decade, and there are not any restaurants around me than can accomodate my issues- last time i ate out was 4 yrs ago at a conference in a big city and i researched restaurants thoroughly. I need to apply that same diligence to my budget and spending!
Love this because it can get crazy when you're not planning each dollar. Nobody you said "yes" to are going to be in bankruptcy court... I am finally getting the receipts and tracking down... It was a huge part that I skipped because I figured it's budgeted for but now I see there are still areas that are excessive. Thank you Jenn for making it real, understandable, and up front with the things that matter 💜XOXO
I just put a "recipts" envelope in my purse for the same reason! I've been thinking "well it's budgeted" but my misc fund (which I realize I don't need) keeps disappearing!
Have a Merry Christmas. Thank you for your help. I'm a little over halfway to my $1000 emergen-BEE fund. Plus paying down my first credit card. I just want to say thank you so much for your videos. I even got my sister to start some small challenges and think she is hooked to now.
OMgosh, i never realized ppl wd still be paying on cards they used by presents a year ago... thats insane... im about 3 seconds from taking my car back and gettting a cheaper car....i think my transmission is going out...im having it checked tomorrow... if so in DONE... then getting something cheaper...
You are so funny! I love your videos. You have really helped. I went from a negative net worth last October to a positive net worth. I am so not done but have better tools this year to get to where I need to get. Thank you so much!
Good morning and Happy Sunday. I am focusing on building wealth and paying off debt in 2025. My motto will be everything i am doing is for Future me❤ thanks for the great content❤
This video helped me. I was doing the same thing working to pay people. Now it’s different. . . *** I didn’t say thanks. Thank you. Enjoy the warmth. Stay safe.
Thank you for the hope & inspiración. This year I just informed everyone that I was not giving Christmas gifts (I know that was major) because my goal was to max out my 401k. Guess what? I max out my 401k contribution for 2024. Now I'm prepping for a no spend month in January. My only debt is my mortgage and I'm working to pay it off asap. Budgeting works! Paying attention to the people we spend time with is crucial. Who we spend time with "makes us or break us."
Hey hey Jenn!!! I have been dying to tell the HBIC (Head 🐝 In Charge) im officially DEBT FREEEEEEE ❤❤❤❤ I paid off my last student loan 12/18. Hello Honey was a huge contributor to keeping me motivated. So much love to you my girl!!!! & Merry Christmas to you & Jason 🩷🩷🩷🎄🎊🎉

I'll trade paychecks w/ you. First though let me tell you my story. I'm 54, on disability since 2017. I started out drawing about $750 A MONTH! Still thinking you don't are enough? I NOW draw $945 a month, still I bet no where what you make a month. I'd started buying my house in early 90s. I've managed to get my house pd off, I lucked out in 2017 cause my car got repo'd after I started filing for disability and a friend had bought her daughter a 1998 lexus, used, as a hs graduation presemt and girl was about to graduate college. So friend gave me the lexus and got daughter a newer car. So my car is pd off (and yes , still driving that '98 and a chain broke on transmission and it wrecked itself (I've started calling it carrie after the horror film). But it hit a house at slow speed (I was in bed) and because I had an emergency fund, I had the $1500 to fix it clear. So , if I can pay house. Fix car and get out of debt on less then $1000.00 a month, and average working person makesore then twice what I do, how can you not pay off bills w/ little effort? I'll admit, when I started I'd NOT heard of dave ramsey so didn't know baby steps. I stumbled badly on my path. But, I kept picking myself up after each fall. So, if I could do it, what's really stopping you?
Hello, how are you? I really miss the 'budget with me' and 'savings challenges' videos. Are you still going to do those? Kind greetings from Belgium, Veerle
Make out your budget, write everything d*** that you owe. And even though you're going to pay all this debt for the month and get that straight. You're also going to start a payment plan to where you're going to do a savings challenge for each bill for the next month and that will get you ahead. For example, if you owe $500 on a car payment, put a extra dollar with it or 20 and add all your change. Save it for the whole month and add that. Is to it and see a decrease in size and see that you are successful. The next thing you do you have a rent payment? Make sure to add for the next month. You can do a $10 savings challenge on it and every $10. You get you just stick it away and you keep going from there. And then let's say you have car maintenance. And let's say that's $300 where you can do a $20 savings. Challenge for that or $10 or 5 or once you just keep ongoing, it's organized. I'm saying you're thoughtful to see exactly where you need to be at the right time
She has some videos on it to help you. Can start out slow w/ notebook and pencil/pen. Most of us have thoughs to start and if dont, dollar tree can get for $2.50ish. Write down all your expenses and income. Weed the list down, if you have subscrptioms you have looked at last few times got them then cancel them. Youre not using them and can putoney in pocket/towards getting debt free. Its the new yr, many join gyms, dont be normal dont join. Can walk neighborhood or local parks or if stairs in house. Etc When i started i started by saving my change (i started in early 90s and had not heard of dave so had no idea of emergency fund so i was saving my change to add to house payment (to the principle part). It can be used more logically to put towards saving your emergency fund up. I packed my lunch and saved diff also. So, notebook and pen, cutting unused subs and food packing are 3 steps to start and build on.
It isn't a drag. When you see those balances come down you'll be giddy! My husband & I had low paying jobs. We never thought we'd have a paid for house in the country, 2 older but paid for cars and no cc debt. But it happened, we "made do", no new clothes or shoes, very little eating out, packed lunches. Ever single extra penny went on the mortgage, when that was done, every penny went on the truck & cc. Freedom date was 7/26/24. sandralmoore1360 has it right. Write it all down. It helps. You can make a plan from there. It took us 4 years but it was worth it. We save what we used to pay on debt now and love it!
Yes! You do. You just haven’t. It’s easy! I was doing a budget and thought I was doing a budget. Just writing what I owe and paying every pay. Now I am doing it right. I just do a little shifting here and there.

Hello Jenn,
Hi! 💛
Yeah this sounds like a drag for sure. I feel like I do without a lot already. I don't make enough money. That's the problem.
It's not a drag, when you see those balances come down I can't tell you the feeling you get. I have never been this happy. You will be too!
I hope every subscriber and more see this
