The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.
I couldn’t agree more! That’s why it’s so important to start investing while you have a steady job or regular income and to stay consistent. A reliable income stream provides crucial support as you build your investments. The foundation of success lies in smart financial planning and effective money management.
While we may not be used to such volatile markets with occasional turbulence, the widespread concern is understandable, especially given that the US Stock Market has experienced its longest bull run in history. However, opportunities abound if you know where to look. With the guidance of an investment advisor who helped diversify my portfolio, I earned over $660K in profits last year.

Great tips. My grocery bill has not changed and I purchase 90% of the same things every week. I rarely eat out. When I do, I'm disappointed with prices and taste. And I never get restaurant food delivered...huge waste of money! I also "window" shop online. Fill my shopping cart and wait a few days. Many times, I don't buy unless items drop in price. It fills my desire to shop but doesn't harm my finances. Finally, I no longer buy expensive, fancy phones or expensive plans. Another waste of money. Most people can do fine with a phone and plan from a budget carrier. American marketers are masterful at persuading people to spend, spend, spend. Don't fall for it! Save and spend your money on truly important things...house, trips, charity.
Just found the channel, I will definitely be watching. In my home we have started gardening, preserving and will order a meal and share. Eating out has become almost non existent for us. We buy when on sale and put back.

Car dealerships and car dealers try to cheat you, but regardless always do your research and calculate the total amount of the car at the end of the loan. As far as living paycheck to paycheck, lifestyle creep just started to hit me recently because growing up I was overly cautious with money and now I've been splurging. Yes you is so right I'm 52 and only have $10 in my savings account right now and that's so Sad waiting on my SSI for 2 years now not able to work do to my due to my health and disability
My clothes kept fading. We switched to washing with less detergent, tap water setting, and low heat drying. The difference in my clothing has been phenomenal. My clothes look like new almost a year later
My husband and I go thru a manual car wash. It’s on a timer so while I spray on the soap, he scrubs and then I rinse after he’s scrubbed and then he takes over with the rainX rinse. $4 ! Cheaper than those fancy car washes and doing it yourself you may have to keep adding more quarters to get it done.
Being without a vehicle, I mostly order online now. The only thing I miss is not being able to browse the "reduced for quick sale" or fresh deli items. They are never offered online. You bet I check them whenever I get a ride to the store.
It's crucial for individuals to diversify their portfolios, seek professional financial advice, and stay informed about market trends to navigate these challenges effectively.
Well with the ever-changing global economy, tax laws and regulations can also vary, impacting how investments are taxed. It's essential to stay informed and plan strategies accordingly.
Agreed, I've always delegated my excesses to an advisor, since suffering major portfolio loss early 2020, amid covid outbreak. I'm now semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours a week, with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments to date.
My CFA, Joseph Nick Cahill has assisted me in doing that effectively, he's a renowned figure in his field. I recommend researching his name online; you'll find all his credentials and everything you need to work with a reliable professional. With many years of experience, he is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
This is not the usual video with the same old tired tips! Here's my tip on cold water laundry detergent. That detergent is annoyingly sticky, reducing the amount going into the washer. I rub the inside of the little cup on some stubborn stains, then rinse the cup to get maximum value out of it. And I always use a drying rack. I haven't used a dryer in years.
My washer and dryer are both 26 years old. Work great. Like you, I don’t use my dryer (for me, maybe 5 times a year). 10 years ago the heat wasn’t working on it. Paid $60 to get a new heating coil installed. Works great. 😊
Nice video, there are some good tips in there I wasn't expecting. I also wasn't expecting the odd black void interim breaks in there. They don't align with the ads to make sense
I spave all the time on non-perishables that I use. It's great getting something on sale, and not having to buy it for a year. I hate having to buy this stuff every month. I know I'm not going to run out of toilet paper because I forgot to pick it up.
I know what happened to that toilet paper in 2020. A friend of mine has about 25 huge packs of tp that each have 30-40 rolls in them. She’ll never use them all before she dies. Seriously. I told her when she dies I’m taking her tp lol
I always save my money. Putting half of my Salary into my portfolio at the start of each month has always been my approach. My second approach is to hold off on selling for at least five years, but as of late, my portfolio has seen a significant fall with losses of around $65k, Please what can i do?
You need a certified financial planner straight up! personally, I invest in ETF's and also love investing in individual stocks. yes it’s riskier but am comfortable in my financial environment

Fried rice. Rice cream. Devon as bacon replacement. Dilute cleaning products and or switch to diluted disinfectant. Freeze fresh food ingredients. Thrift Bulk buy . I live on 300 dollars a week and if you saw my life you would think I earn alot more
Good tips on laundry! Imagine 2 tablespoons of detergent is enough!! Try not to use your tumble dryer, use indoor & out door drying racks as much as possible. 💰
Been indoor/outdoor drying for years. I have figured out it’s about .75 cents a load added onto my electric bill and I do 5-7 loads a week so all those quarters can really add up ! I like to save every Penny where I can 😊
Great tip is flat out dont buy things. Easy. You dont need to buy food just cause its cheap on the app. Yes that treat "surprise bag" was only 5$ instead of 19$, but Id save the 5$ and not buy it even at discount. Or those expiry date food apps. Yes theyre 50% off, but did you actually NEED them? Just cause something is a deal, doesnt mean you buy it. Those buy 3, get the item for 1.00 each instead of 1.99$ "deals" are a scam too. If you only need 1, its less money to pay 1.99$ for 1 than 3$ for the 3. Retailers across the board know customers are tightening their belts and saving their pennies, so theyre pulling out every trick there is to get you to spend. The simple answer: NO.
Why does it feel like you have to spend money to save money? 😂 Those ‘buy more, save more’ deals always leave me wondering… am I saving or spending more?
Might make sense if you can get someone to share and split with you. Would be a good idea for Costco. I believe in keeping it businesslike: have the person who's sharing your purchase pay for it. If necessary, keep a running total while shopping to avoid excessive spending by either of you. Then divide as equally as is possible and immediately pay for your half. Once you get lax, it doesn't work. And every fantastic sale repeats about every two or three months!
yup its not saving if you are not using it. i had a marketing degree and i know how this strategy works w/ store ..spend more!! but made u think u r saving.
Most restaurants hire immigrant people. I have many Hispanic and African friends and if you knew the things they tell me you would never go to eat at a restaurant. They spit on the food and don't wash their hands. When they go to be number one or number two, they are very dirty.😮

I like generics. I will dine out 4 meals a month max so it's fine. I like the idea of surplus food for cheap but I prefer to buy a month of food once a month. It saves a lot to maximize my time and buying so much at a time I get any spave that might be possible without any waste. Like I may not need it today, but I will absolutely need it pretty soon. I won't ever have another loan unless it's a business loan. I'm cheap. My Dad's a contractor so ehh. I wash cloths bi-weekly and no drying, save all that money and fire hazard. I have many drying racks. I'll check the soap spec for cold vs warm water though, that's interesting. I'll never fly again if it's not first class, or a road trip if I will need a car at the destination. That's very similar relative convenience from my opinion for a continental trip. Like I have my own car and lots of my stuff and no rush like go a day or 3 earlier if you want to get anywhere with the same efficiency as a flight but by car. I don't like needing to travel to an airport then leave my car in a lot just to save 13 hours of total hypothetical travel time. Lol, my phone's so old, it's worth like $30 but it's fine I love it. I replaced the battery 3 times so far. Saved thousands. I have fancy wireless charging from 7+ years ago and a 10,000mah wireless brick that will charge my phone at least once from 0 to full if needed and that bricks like 2 years old already as well. And my phone's pixel density is still more than the newest and most expensive phones so I'm generally disappointed as I consider a new phone each year. Maybe 2025 or 26 lol.
I wouldn't refi unless its at least 2% lower. I would opt to just over pay the mortgage if rates dont come down. If you can afford it. When you refi you start the loan from the beginning
It really depends on how much it costs to refinance the loan, but usually, even if your rate decreased by only 1%, it's worth it to refinance. You'll make up the mortgage refi costs after a year or a bit more and then save thousands a year. You can pay the mortgage off sooner as long as the lender doesn't charge a pre-payment penalty. You shouldn't look at your finances like "as long as I earn $x I don't mind paying extra money that I don't need to." Because there is always an important use for capital, even if it's gifting to a person or organization that you care about more than you care about the mortgage lender.
Considering how much it cost to replace the whole device spending around $79 for two years is a great value. I had an iphone 6s for almost five years because I had the battery replaced every few years and always had a case/screen protector on it. Most people abuse their devices and act surprised when they have to replace it. Something is to be said for taking care of the stuff you buy.
@@Truth-of-the-matter does it still cost so little? Apple now pairs components by software and you cannot just swap parts between two identical models without special access or equipment.
Oh for crying out. Who cares about scratching the paint? It's a transport. Heck, you should only wash the thing to prevent it from rusting. Not that I'm sure rusting will damage the engine... If you're gonna wash your car do it cheap unless it's a Ferrari.
That is why I'd advocate for buying a car that is two or three years old and letting the original owner take the loss on purchase price. When I was younger I used to be concerned about scratches and small dings but at the end of the day a car is just a car. Small scratches and dings won't matter in the long run if you take your car in for regular oil changes and maintenance. Most people don't care about what car you drive.
@@Truth-of-the-matter My 2017 Honda just got side swiped by a deer. I got some dents but my windows and door handles work and they’re not dented to the point where they’ll leave rust. But my ins said my deductible is $500 to fix it. I’m not dishing out $500 to make my car dimple less. Who cares. It’s a 7 year old car. I’m not trying to impress anyone and I’m not selling it either. We drive our vehicles till they totally fall apart

Completely not true about the car wash I was in a commercial for a car wash being whipped around by 6 ft brushes like spinning Christmas trees 🌲 the other guy in the commercials line was if it can’t hurt me it won’t hurt your car so true
In truth the only clothes that you should wash every week are your underwear and your socks unless you are working a physical job and sweating up a storm. Clothes are like food. You only need to do something when they start to smell.

lol my restaurant charges $7 for a side of French fries a 2:53

Good info
Bravo!!!!!!
Im going to save 1k per month by being homeless
Will check out those apps
Lets do all this when the billionaires taking space trips …
I do most of these things.
Apple and other are making it expensive to chage a battery now. Not everyone can do it.
NEVER BUY APPLE. Fight for right to repair!

My 2017 Honda just got side swiped by a deer.
@@cjhoward409 So true! Guess what you'd get for your car if it had been totalled?
This is a really great piece! Thank you for sharing all of these tips & shedding light on what's happening in this market.

I guess if everyone is saving money then the economy is doing great
I just found out that I've been doing spaving for a long time
Completely not true about the car wash I was in a commercial for a car wash being whipped around by 6 ft brushes like spinning Christmas trees 🌲 the other guy in the commercials line was if it can’t hurt me it won’t hurt your car so true
In truth the only clothes that you should wash every week are your underwear and your socks unless you are working a physical job and sweating up a storm. Clothes are like food. You only need to do something when they start to smell.
@@TwisterTornado True - may be the reason old people smell bad - their unwashed clothes.
...and there is always the dumpster out back of the store.
Don't leave a tip at restaurants. Unless you are ordering through food delivery apps.

How to save money while dining out, DONT leave a tip , make PBAG SAMACHIS to take out with you or eat at home
If you can’t afford a tip you shouldn’t go out to eat. It’s despicable that you would suggest that.
Those servers depends on tips as the majority of the money they make. Stay home if you’re not going to tip.
