These cars aren’t meant to be tracked or drifted after being built, just built to be admired. Without context he could have secured it after with bolts but either way if a RWB Porsche needs to USE its tow hook, it’s not being driven correctly.
The owners of the car posted the original video. They couldn’t mount the hook bc something was in the way so they asked him to glue it on for pictures… this a $100k+ car y’all really think they cheaped out at this point???

The owner of the car asked him to glue it as they had an oil cooler mounted in the way of the factory tow hook spot. They said they just wanted it visually there for pictures of it “complete” and would find a way to properly mount it themselves afterwards to not impede with his normal procedures of installing his kit.
They explained in a comment to the original video that they glued it on for pictures etc because they were on a tight schedule. The bolted towhook will be mounted later

The tow hook isn't coming off because it's not held in place by a regular adhesive. It's secured with a structural bonding adhesive, the same type used in skyscrapers and even in some of the most advanced hypercars, which are also glued together with this material.

Usually he will place those parts to check the placement first, Later on he’ll bolt all together. Cause he never use measurements everything was just custom built. If im not mistaken guys. OR his customer late req to put that thing when he completed the project so last resort decision.

The owner of the car asked him to glue it as they had an oil cooler mounted in the way of the factory tow hook spot. They said they just wanted it visually there for pictures of it “complete” and would find a way to properly mount it themselves afterwards to not impede with his normal procedures of installing his kit.
They explained in a comment to the original video that they glued it on for pictures etc because they were on a tight schedule. The bolted towhook will be mounted later

Imagine taking years to source the perfect car and spending upwards of 125k-250k on it. Then waiting years after paying 40k for this dude to install their body kit, just for him to Glue on the tow hook they were actually going to use . They will now possibly damage the car if they try to use it or take it off to install it properly.

The tow hook isn't coming off because it's not held in place by a regular adhesive. It's secured with a structural bonding adhesive, the same type used in skyscrapers and even in some of the most advanced hypercars, which are also glued together with this material.

Usually he will place those parts to check the placement first, Later on he’ll bolt all together. Cause he never use measurements everything was just custom built. If im not mistaken guys. OR his customer late req to put that thing when he completed the project so last resort decision.
He is gluing it just for the picture. The actual tow hook location isn’t there but the owner of the vehicle wanted that in that spot, so he is gluing for picture and then installed it correctly
