I like how you stress the prep time! some people do not bother with this and have so much more work just cleaning up after themselves! So very sweet too!

Hi there! Your painting looks great! I was wondering would you happen to know anything about the process of painting a mural on a shipping container?
Yes I do. It's hard because its corrugated but the larger you able to paint the image the less details gets lost in the corrugation. also the primer made for metal is good to prime it with. to start

I love your art! I’ll be starting a mural by myself for the first time next week and I was hoping you could tell me what type of acrylic paints do you use? I plan on using latex interior paint for the background, but have yet to find the right (but also cost efficient) acrylic paint that would be in budget but also work very well on a wall. My michaels didn’t have a lot of options larger than 8oz. They had Decoart Americana, Folkart, and craft smart, but I’ve never used any of those brands before and I’m not sure how they would do on a wall (interior). If you have any acrylic paint recommendations please send them my way! It’d be greatly appreciated❤
For my next mural I have to do a big tree but the leaves are basically paint splatters and blobs. Is there a good tool to do this with?

Yes. wear a mask whenever you can. Sometimes I forget but definitely wear it when you paint.
Amazing to see the process here. Really cool. Are all of your abstract projects as open as this in terms of prep of the image? It seemed like your mockup was pretty loose. The the client want to see a "finished' digital mockup before you started? Or do you just give them a general sense of what you're doing?
because most clients now my work well, I can do something really loose as a mock-up. For those clients that don't know me, ill do a more detailed mock-up with samples of previous elements in previous work that i want to incorporate into the design.
What do you seal your latex indoor mural with?
Do you add primer to a brick wall before you create a mural on it?

WHICH measuring APP do you use? Is an IPAD essential for my murals?? does this save TIME? i am in the middle of my FIRST EVER MURAL and ... its TAKING FOREVER! ...
The measuring app is the one that come preset on Iphone now. its really helpful. All mural will take some time. I learned that the more prep you do the easier it is during the installation.
How did you find the pesticide sprayer/ the clean up of it? I just picked one up and wanted to know if it will last multiple uses using paint. Keep killing it!!!
its easy to clean if you clean it right afterwards (Use hot water). Its actually pretty pun to use. You'll have to water down some of the paints to do it those.
What program do you use on the I pad ?
I use procreate the design a lot of the murals I do.

I usually use house paint and Spraypaint. You can order spray paint online on a website called sprayplanet.com or you can also get them at local paint stores
Does the Latex Wall Paint work for outdoor murals as well?
Yes it does! just ask for exterior paint when buy latex paints.

I have a pretty big Color by number project coming up. Could you offer some advice on painting on plywood?
Hit it with as much primary as possible. That way you seal it, as well as smooth it out when it comes to the texture. Kilz2 primer is great for this

I very much want to do this for a career, I draw allot but don't have a lot of painting experience yet or murals, any advice? Also what is the college course to learn this like?
I would say to watch a lot of the murals 101 and advice playlist. i throw a lot of advice in those videos. I also wrote a book for having a lasting art career.

Okay, so I’m fairly new to art and I’ve never painted, but my artwork was recently noticed by a local mayor and she wants me and my friend to paint a mural.
