I like having the fun/entertainment money for the month in a separate checking account (primis perks for the cashback). Transfer the set amount at the beginning of the month. Keeps me from overspending it and it can roll over like a sinking fund for the next month if I didn't use it all.

Nice! I love that idea. Then you know you will limit your fun/entertainment which is pretty easy to go over on every month. I might have to add that as a good suggestion for people.

Great video! I like that you think about finances from a prepping standpoint. Having a back up plan is always a good idea. I really like the idea of a giving account. Be well.

Thanks! I have to say, all the banking news this year has had me thinking about it more from a prepping mentality haha.

I feel that having your primary checking account at a bank you can physically go to should be a necessity. Like a regional bank or local bank. I feel like that would make me safe knowing that if something doesn’t work on your mobile phone or computer, you can go into a bank and actually talk to someone.

Yeah that's a fair point. We do have a bank account we can go to a physical location if we need to which is nice. Thanks for the input!

Great advice Caleb! I opened up a secondary checking account. I found out that you have to use the debit card associated with the account 10 times in a month to avoid the $8 fee! I have a regular savings account but I need an account where I can put extra money in it for emergencies. I do have my main checking account that houses my paycheck, etc. Let me know what you 🤔 think. Others can chime in as well. Great advice is welcome! Inflation is tough! 😎❤️

Happy to help! Aww booo to the $8 fee. Check out Discover or Upgrade! I have reviews for both and those are the ones I'm recommending nowadays. So sorry for the delayed response!
