I know the video was posted 7 months ago, but I just signed up for one. It’s letting me choose what category I get 5% back on. I chose restaurants. It can combine with the “special offers”. Just used special offer “10% off dominos order” with the additional 5% from the card and actually got 15% cash back. For a debit card… that’s ridiculous! Very happy with the change in management over there at PayPal

I've been waiting for your video to come out on this. I'm mainly a credit card cash back kind of guy, but I've been using the heck out of my PayPal debit card on dining now. None of that spend has gone on credit cards. Why, when I can get 5% back on a debit card. Win-win.

I canceled my credit card because the interest rate went from 20% to 34%, l had this credit card for years and l believe for the most part l was responsible, l had a revolving charge on it each month because of having sling tv, but paid it off each month but that 34% hike in interest WOW!!!! I just don’t want to chance something going wrong and not being able to pay, I’ve had debt problems many, many years ago, never want to be in debt again, l using my debit card or paying cash and the payment is DONE!!!!

PayPal just updated the cash back rewards, and honestly it’s really good. Every month, you can get a 5% Cash Back discount on either gas, groceries, restaurants, heath & beauty, or clothing on up to $1,000 in total purchases. It doesn’t feel like much, but it’s gained my attention, especially the grocery discount.

So lets be honest. Credit cards are benefiting people who actually earn a lot, not for regular people, who dont and then go into debt. I will be using my debit card until i die, i will spend what i have and had nothing to worry about. 🙏🏻

It is secure in terms of you'll get back your initial investment but the chance of you making hardly any profit is quite the case. I invested in 08/23 and my account just came to maturity, I put 10K in total, the first 5K just reached maturity, and after their fees I received $44.16 that's less than 1% return 0.88% to be exact. I would have put my money in a HYS for 4.75% instead. They will lure you in with high returns of 9% or more then say the market blah blah blah... I still have another 5K maturing in one month and those returns look to be less than $200 as of today. The percentage of returns changes on a daily basis very volatile and dependent on the stock market so why not just invest directly in the stock market and leave it long term, the fees will be a lot less and you'd be getting more. This was a waste of time, I regret tying up my funds for a whole year for nothing, but it was a lesson learned... I do not recommend.

I got a credit card to pay for things when I travel and get those txn fees back as cashback, also I have one for grocery shopping cuz I literally don't shop anywhere else for groceries, so it makes sense to get 6.5% back which I use to go to cinemas or whatever with my partner. I have two more credit cards which i barely use anymore and planning to cancel them to simply my budget, but again, i never leave a balance and mostly pay it of even before the statement date.

All debit cards that need a email and mobile phone number are a waste of time if you don't have that. Try bank debit card instead.
