The Fearless Decision: FT-DX101MP Revealed

  • Yes, it’s a Yaesu FT-DX101MP. Some of you may recall that I’ve mentioned that I’ve never operated with more than 100 Watts, so why did I choose this radio over the DX101D?
    I did some additional research that helped me make up my mind, and I’ll be sharing what I found out in this video.

    Congrads, Tom. I run emergency power with batterys for all radios in my shack and the 50 volt requirement made my decision to go for the 13.8 volt D version. I do love this radio ;-)

    Congrad's Tom! I been running this since 2020 with no issues. I also think you missed another filter and the finals are different than the 101D.

      I knew about the finals, but was trying to ignore the power difference…. That way I could present an “all else being equal scenario.” 73
