Here in my temple Here in my shrine That you have forgotten Here do you toil That you might remember Here you reclaim What faithless minds have stolen Far from yourself I grow ever nearer to you Your eyes once were blinded Now through me do you see Your hands once were idle Now through them do I speak And when the world shall listen And when the World shall see And when the world remembers That world will cease to be.
I used to listen to that song when I traveled back and forth from my university to my home, in winter I was looking at the snow-capped high plains, the mist meandering through the valleys, the wet countryside passing before my eyes. Now I'm faraway, I'll never see these places again, still this song allow me to grasp these moments of calm. " So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past ".
When I first played the dragonborn dlc, this was the first song I heard when arriving at raven rock for the first time and i knew right then I was in for a brilliant time
I had just defeated Miraak at the Summit of Apocrypha and was on my way back to Raven Rock from the Temple of Miraak when this song began to play. All I could hear was Miraak's last request to Hermaeus Mora before he was absorbed by my character, or sent to eternal torment, whichever one occurred. I felt an unspeakable sadness as I thought of what he was trying to do, a guy committing evil acts for a dark master, trapped in the Hell of Apocrypha, and desperate to escape. I can't say that I agreed with Miraak, I can only guess his intentions once he reached Solstheim proper, but I still felt sorry for him. Edited: Grammar and further explanation.
***** Its been a while, but then again he was an opportunist, but he wasn't evil he did betray the dragons after all which meant in him nearly killed and later enslaved by Hermaeus Mora for a couple of millenia.Hermaeus possibly changed him too.
***** Well in those days it was different, I mean all great conquerors are assholes, Napoleon,Alexander the great,Julius Caesar, not to mention Genghis Khan..Sorry for the english, Im just trying to prove a point that Miraak wasn't necessarily as evil as he was portrayed. He was a rather neutral opportunist who used his prowess and the situation to his own good.Basically like Tiber Septim who also did similar.
+BulletTheEnforcer In my point of view, everyone deserves a second chance, maybe miraak got corrupted by hema, maybe he got corrupted with own power, but who cares? if i had the option to give this man a second chance of life, without wars, just peace, i'll definitely choose it !
Fuck, this song is so beautiful. It really fits the hardships of depression I have been through lately. I can't count how many times I've listened to it. It helps me think and ease my mind.
in my opinion a lot of the music from the elder scrolls games makes my depression feel a sense of being lifted and it just makes me think that there’s a whole nother world that could bring so much joy and happiness :)
This song is so beautiful that it explains my life by listening to it and every time I listening to this a tier comes down every time its that beautiful of a song
Looks similar in some points to the tracks "Wind guides you" from Skyrim and Ministrel's Lament from Oblivion... This one is among the greatest songs in TES, thanks Jeremy Soule
Can't think of another song in this world that makes me feel the way this one does. One of Soule's absolute masterpieces. Sad the Solstheim tracks didn't have an official release.
Vitaly Vox I’ve been trying to find out the name of this particular track for over two years now, and no one had a clue what it was until I saw your comment. How do you know this?
I really want to go back and play Morrowind. But I just can't. I've gotten so used to Oblivion and Skyrim's combat systems. Does anybody know of a Morrowind combat overhaul?
i found that many people dont like morrowind combat system and most of the time it is because they lack the understanding of it.imo it is the best combat system you can have.granted the aesthetics of it arent nice and feels clunky and all but the principle behind it is realistic and engaging.you have to work for it to be effective.
Doesn't have one, Bethesda couldn't even bother. Gotta search by it's exact title. There's also "Exploring 11" for Dragonborn which I don't think is the same song but sounds similar to me
Why doesn't this magnificent piece get a recognition and isn't performed live? It even doesn't have a name...
It should be a crime to not release it in high quality.
I agree. Though, I've seen somewhere that it might be called 'Under Redoran Watch'.
Its called morning star
у настоящей красоты нет названия..)
it should, its so beautiful

There are a total of like 3 skyrim pieces that really make me sit down and think about my entire existence lmao
I’m guessing this is one, what are the other two?
Secunda has to be one
@@margolane3361 Legit though
Solstiem is so beautiful even with ash on the ground, small land, and reaver outlaws in every dungeon.
This is my favorite piece in Solstheim...makes me feel really sad for some reason. It's really beautiful.

I like how this game gathers people with beautiful souls and mindsets. It reminds me about there're good people out there.
Gatsby AND Jeremy Soule? Sign me up.
The best song from the DLC in my opinion.
This fills me with something great and sad inside
Best song from the whole OST
there's so many great songs from the whole skyrim soundtrack, jeremy soule is a fantastic composer
Proposed Title: Ashen Memories
Perfect!
When I first played the dragonborn dlc, this was the first song I heard when arriving at raven rock for the first time and i knew right then I was in for a brilliant time
The French Horn theme at 1:35- 2:00 is so beautiful. I'd love to hear a whole song dedicated to that variation alone. So amazing.

If you think abiout it, Miraak wasn't all that much of a 'bad guy'.
If he was in chargé maybe he wouldnt be!!

I don't have depression per se, but I feel you...it has helped me...feel. :T
in my opinion a lot of the music from the elder scrolls games makes my depression feel a sense of being lifted and it just makes me think that there’s a whole nother world that could bring so much joy and happiness :)
I used Skyrim's soundtrack as a therapeutic ease for years too, i hope you're doing fine.
6:00 and onwards until the end is honestly one of the best parts I've heard from any game music ever.
This song is so beautiful that it explains my life by listening to it and every time I listening to this a tier comes down every time its that beautiful of a song
Listening to this while reading the volumes of the Red year...powerful.
Looks similar in some points to the tracks "Wind guides you" from Skyrim and Ministrel's Lament from Oblivion... This one is among the greatest songs in TES, thanks Jeremy Soule
I always remember looking out to Vvardenfell when on Solstheim and just wanting to go back, but i couldn't because everything was now gone.
Can't think of another song in this world that makes me feel the way this one does. One of Soule's absolute masterpieces. Sad the Solstheim tracks didn't have an official release.
That horn/trumphet realy works!
When I'm in Solstheim and this track plays, I just have to stop and listen because it's so beautiful
It’s currently a thunderstorm like a lot at 6:30pm and listening to this makes it sound even better
6:27 the ending is quite similar to the ending of Wind Guide You
I absolutely LOVE this track… it gives me so much nostalgia for places I’ve never been before... ❤️
Name of this beautiful song is "Under Redoran Watch"
Vitaly Vox I’ve been trying to find out the name of this particular track for over two years now, and no one had a clue what it was until I saw your comment. How do you know this?
@@Soaring_lizzard It's the name from the game files I guess. There is no official soundtrack of Dragonborn only gamerips.
Perfect, perfect, perfect. I love this music, so much morrowind-ish!
Chills down my spines
i wish i had morrowind so bad this just makes me want it more
I really want to go back and play Morrowind. But I just can't. I've gotten so used to Oblivion and Skyrim's combat systems. Does anybody know of a Morrowind combat overhaul?
+Wyatt Putnam should check out skywind, complete morrowind renewal but in skyrims engine
Know its a year later almost but there is a combat oblivion like overhaul. Besides the combat isn't that bad just get agility so you don't miss.

thanx 2 Jeremy Soule 4 makin this game better with its soundtrack😍😍
I loved so much Miraak. If there was a way to ally with him i wold've embrace it . The first and the last Dragonborne together!
I think there's a mod that gives you the option of teaming up with Miraak at the end. Haven't tried it, but looked pretty awesome
@@hl3671 There is. Somewhere you can find the video. Awesome
I have the mod. I really like it. It gave a trapped (no pun intended) soul a second chance. I recommend
Kinda melancholy isn't it?... 0:48 is my favorite part.
kind of reminds me of morrowind and oblivion
like the original skyrim soundtrack reminded me of daggerfall
I want to upload these tracks to the podcast. How can I convert these tracks to MP3 format in the game root directory?
Does anybody knows what's the title of this theme? I've been looking everywhere and can''t find it :(
Doesn't have one, Bethesda couldn't even bother. Gotta search by it's exact title. There's also "Exploring 11" for Dragonborn which I don't think is the same song but sounds similar to me
Solstheim tracks 8-11 are all original compositions for the Dragonborn DLC. All are unnamed and incredibly underrated imo, especially this one
This sounds almost like an inverse version of 'From Past to Present', unless I'm hearing things. Cool either way!
I agree
kind of reminds of into the west film!
A very good DLC but it doesn't hold a candle to Shivering Isles.
Very true but nothing holds a flame to Skyrim/Dragonborn soundtrack, NOTHING.
This reminds me of Morrowind.
HEEEEYY YOU GUUYS!
hey :p
