I find it fascinating how frequent these kind of comments show up on great "new" singers songs. It is as if you SHOULD EXPECT the live or stripped down versions to ALWAYS be shittier than the studio, vocal/pitch wise, and you SHOULD BE FINE with it. Like if singing live UP TO THE RECORD STANDARDS wouldn't be part of what it means to be a singer at all.
