Appreciate all the support these are getting. Definitely different than our other videos, excited to release weekly content as we pick Calli's brain - If you have a topic let us know!
I am getting into this genre recently and I have heard a lot about "Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game" and was wondering why that wasn't mentioned as it seems to be on a bunch of people's list. Great review! Thanks y'all!
@@calliwright564 slow as of late, i'm studying for exams and applying for teaching positions! i did have a minor breakthrough the other day. i realized i needed to consider more of the different aspects and mechanisms of puzzles and storytelling. i want puzzles to have more story, and storytelling to be more puzzly. it's so fun exploring the design space of a game.

Great Job Calli, I love Chronicle of Crime as I can play solo during this time. I haven't tried the adventure games but wanted to try one.
Great job Calli! There are some really great mystery games out there. I really love games with a secret traitor in them, like Dead of Winter.

hey calli, good idea including the pictures of the games you're referring to. such a small thing really enhances the viewing experience.
