I filmed this entirely on my iPhone so I apologize for the audio and quality. I had all my gear stolen so I had no choice. Hope this video provides you some value 👍
Tell us about that!
Wait what!? Man I'm sorry that sucks.
It sure did. Sorry your gears got stolen am positive better ones will come your way soon.
Who's that chick? Give her to me!
Sorry to hear your gear got stolen - hopefully the financial loss is not too big. Audio and video quality was totally fine, and It was extremely helpful to see how you mastered to work around the harsh sunlight without any modifiers, let alone a flash, and still shot the most beautiful images - THANKS!
I love these straight to the point videos. Some other people would spend 45 minutes conveying the same things, just with a lot more repeating and fluff for no reason. It's a sign of wisdom to be able to say a lot without... saying a whole lot :)
The music is killing me I don’t know if I should be sad, serious or happy 😂😂😩
😂😂😂
This straight to the point no BS need to be a series. Very informative. Coming from someone who is interested in learning and getting into photography
You don't need schooling for photography. You need self discipline, books, and a camera. Teach yourself, throw yourself out there and you will learn more than a school will ever show you.
Aye man I respect the fact even from a s*** situation where your gear gets stolen, you don’t let that ruin your trip and instead continued creating while filming a RUclips video about it. Anyone would’ve been very discouraged and would’ve let that ruin their whole mood including trip ( with every right to feel that way ). Hope you nothing but the best moving forward dude 🙏🏽 and to every fellow photographer out there hustling n creating
Where/when did he talk about that?
@@RiccardoGabarriniKazeatari his previous vid and this one mentioning his gear getting robbed 😞
Manny you are the real deal dude. Love how those pics turned out, and that's some great advice that I can't wait to put to use.
"No BS" videos like this are extremely helpful, because it helps us get a sense of your thought process in real time, and it makes it easy to envision ourselves in your place.
Outstanding instruction and examples of street portraits. Learned a lot about how to work with the light you have. 👍
Where are you?
I always love your straight to the point videos, you don't do all the fluff talk and crap you just tell us information, explain your thoughts etc and it is very refreshing.
Venice
Most useful 4 minutes of my day so far. Thanks!
Superb photos. Really inspiring and enjoyed listening to your commentary on composition tips.
When I watch big homie work I feel inspired.
I can't lie, this is some of you best content. More of these please!
Love getting into your head with your creative process✨
So many useful tips in such a short video! Not that everything was new to me as I like shooting in harsh sunlight myself but more of these, please 🙂
this is amazing, your attention to detail is off the chain❤
This felt like a video game tutorial. Awesome work bro!
Thank you so much for doing such videos. Amazing how you are able to record yourself and the model
Great teacher & much to learn from. Love your videos man, espesally the fact that u show alot of different gear, techniques etc.
I can’t believe I haven’t subscribed even though I’ve been watching Manny for so long. Please forgive me, brother. I’ve been here though!
Great tips especially the one with the posing at the end! Awesome video thank you manny
Greatest mentor of all time
Heck yeah we are back to just shooting!
Manny you're my favorite!
Venice…my hometown.❤
Simple yet calculative employment of the available lighting. So sorry about your gear loss.
Beautiful work Manny! Thank you. I hope your gear was ensured.
this content is pure gold, thumbs up man ! i love this type of content, u got me subscribed just by 2 minute in xd
Straight to the point.
Legit, I got a lot out of this video. Thank you 🙏🏼
Very interesting video, it's nice to see how you can take advantage of the secondary streets of Venice. I hope the period in Italy was pleasant and will be other such interesting contents like this 😉🔝
Venice is awesome. Super cool images.
Great video. And the sound was good as well.
Great content. No need for apologies ..
love this kind of video
Love it! Thanks for these tips
loved these tips! thx Manny!
God i love when you do this
1. Mega sorry about the gear issue. 2. Thanks for talking out the idea behind the knee turned in. At first, as a dancer, I was thinking "Yikes", but then when you talked about cropping the photo at the knee, I saw the look you were going for with pigeon toes. Thanks for the video Manny.
yeah issues with cropping at extremities is something i learned very very early on, and i was looking to see where he was going with it. It turned out well.
Me personally, would have still cropped above the knee because it is built into my photo brain. Otherwise, sometimes rules are meant to be shattered lol
@@simonmaduxx6777 Agreed!
Great tips, thanks for the informative video! I kinda wished we'd see the end result at the last spot next to the canal.
Wow amazing pictures
Very nice work. I love it.
Love this !
The cinamatic music kept having me wait for a zombie or something to jump out! Great photos and video as usual!
Hi Manny- Sorry to hear about your gear. Would you be open to making a video explaining what happened? And how to potentially avoid in the future when traveling to other countries?
Yes for sure. I’m going through the insurance process now and want to complete it before I tell the story
Great tips! Thanks.
🔥 fire as usual
it would be amazing if you could do this with non-model type subjects, just average folk who struggle to take instructions
Nice photography, and place
Next ...try the Leica q3...a camera thats giving you photos that don't need postprocessing ...and that's what I define a Photo Camera !
Great video dude. subbed.
The best 🔥
The a6700 is impressive definitely going to get it. I would love the a7iv but it’s pricey. Loved the video and great tips could of used some of them on this weekend
I don't like the a700 but I do appreciate that the IAF is so spot on that he doesn't need to worry about focus. I have a brand new R62 and I'm still worried about that, I'll be it because I haven't used it super lot. That's why I invested in it in the first place I want this kind of autofocus so I can focus on art directing the model and the shot not chimping.
Better get a7iii used. Just get a full frane if you are more into photography.
Inspiring images!!
Awesome 💯
Good work❤
Great video
Really good
My man is doing photography on the new inferno
Please do you mind adding the settings you used next time. I love your videos.
The settings would be in relation to the current location, lighting , purpose of the photo and so on. I'm not sure this would add anything of substance to the information that he gave.
@@PixlByPixl okay Thank you
what were your settings on the camera mainly the f/stop. This was so instructional for 4 minutes
great vid
Video hay quá bạn ơi 🎉🎉
Thanks 🙏
Is it better to get the Sony A7IV or the Sony A6700 ? I’m mainly a portrait photographer but I want to incorporate some videos also
Look up some training / research on difference between full frame and crop. Its two different ball games. The cameras you mentioned are literally two different classes. Easy to find, that info is everywhere.
That said, once you know how to shoot proper, you can use anything. Cheers.
nice❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Many great video sorry to hear about your gear being stolen!
Where were you when you shot this video, great buildings
Thanks man... as with any aesthetics, it's all subjective. Using shadows in midday sun, or as a backlight, but using intuition and the moment, great stuff. Creating an S curve, nice tip... but for me, for the model, I prefer the thigh gap... shoot me! ;p No, not literally or with cam either :)
Can I ask why you got the Sony 18-55 F2.8 instead of the Sigma 18-50 F2.8?
The background music fits this video alot! Anyone have the source?
Sorry about your gear. Even with insurance that sucks. The viseo quality and content was great!
Venezia ❤ -so sorry for your gear bro!
super tuto
❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry to hear about the theft. Was the luggage with camera gear checked into the hold of the plane rather than carry on?
❤❤
Manny, let me see what u can do with a Panasonic s1 or s5ii
Which aperture you used in this photo shoot?
How you edited these beautiful pictures?
Which camera is on you ?
Are you using JPEGS from the camera or converting to TIFF? There's no RAW support yet for the A6700 is there?
Good
Bro can Anyone please give a solution!
Can i use sigma 35mm 1.4 Art with sony Crop body like ZV E 10 ?
what kind of camera is he using?
Podria sacar fotos similares con el a6700 y sigma 18-50?
Ok it was probably said but I missed it. Where were these photos taken
Everybody wants to be a portrait photographer
Everybody wants, but not everyone knows how to do it well
Are these taken from the a6600 straight from camera jpeg non edited?
What preset you using on these?
Thanks Manny O. U Da Man. Sorry bout ur stuff.
May be the thief was sponsored by SQUARESPACE 😅
What location was this
Where did you shoot this!?
