  • Implementation is a 15 minutes Station.
    Set your personal practice target at 13 minutes.
    You are expected to give oral medication only.
    Read the instructions carefully.
    Ensure the prescription is legible, valid and complete.
    Do your Identity /Allergy check twice, (at the introductory phase and before administration)
    Demonstrate compassion as you relate with your patient.
    Sign the column for the nurse who administered the medication.
    Code correctly omitted drug, circle the code and sign.
    The last page for omitted drug need to be filled as stated on the MAR chart.

    Hi unified OSCE can you help me clarify y question
    patient is in pain and PRN paracetamol 1g is due to be given
    As soon you were about to give PMOL patient started complaining of Nausea
    Do you have to give the pain med and escalate the Nausea or Stop giving the paracetamol
    because patient is Nauseous.
    what do you have to do in this scenario (End of Life Care)

    If 1g is prescribed but the patient weighs less than 50. Can i just give the 500mg or code it?

      Hi, no, you are not licensed to charge a prescription. It has to be coded.

      @@unifiedosce5580what if the patient is prescribed 1g of cocodamol in as necessary and the patient weight less than 50kg are we allowed to give 500mg instead? Please response im desperate as i failed 2x thank you

      Hi, use of Apron and gloves in Implementation is not compulsory. But if you use it, you will not be penalised.

      Blood sugar measurement is referred to as (BM) in UK.

      PRN are not coded, except for a situation where you have an allergen medication requested by the patient at your time.

    But Finish date is +7 days only ,so is it valid mam
