- Authorities arrested a suspect who led officers on a dangerous pursuit through Los Angeles County on Thursday night. The female driver was initially wanted for tailgating and making unsafe lane changes, according to California Highway Patrol.
Officers followed closely behind her black pickup truck as she drove recklessly on the 101 Freeway. Throughout the chase, the suspect merged dangerously through traffic at high speeds, narrowly missing nearby vehicles.

Tailgating and failure to do safe lane changes is what started this chase? So, she turned a minor traffic stop into something big just because she didn't want to stop initially.

It's rare for the criminal to escape a police chase. Speeding, reckless driving, hitting other vehicles, destroying property, and so on, can and will result in you going to prison for a long time and losing your license. Not worth it.
