The sad problem about a shame based childhood is. It's been around since man has been on the Planet. Thus it will be in someone somewhere until the end of time!

If we proclaim that, then it is truth! I feel that one big thing we are now witnessing in the world is how an evolution of consciousness in many creates a tremendous amount of pressure for the whole to evolve in consciousness as well. Lots of people are reacting to this pressure in very "wounded inner child" ways... but the pressure to tune the radio of consciousness from the fear/shame frequency to love is still enormously high right now and appears to be accelerating.

I never ask how someone is. Because the odds are they will just lie to me. If I want to know I just don't shame them. Whereas they will show me how they are doing.

It's not a US problem. It's a dates back to Adam and Eve. Someone once said about 800 years ago. What are we gonna do with kids these days.

No hitting doesn't work no matter the why. Research shows kids bodies react the same to a spanking and to abuse. Don't ever do it.
