Thanks for posting these 2 series! So much core points, such as around 19:30: "Now please understand that I'm not arguing for authoritarian or permissive parenting. I'm arguing against all pedagogy, against anybody who tells you anything other than what are the ingredients of functionality, how to be a fully functionning person. And what I believe is if these parents are fully functionning those children will be raised in a soil where parents have their needs met and will not have to make the children meet the parents' needs, the parents will be able to focus on meet the children's needs.
And this relationship will be good because this woman knows she can make it without this man, and this man knows he can make it without this woman, and both of them have some degree of autonomy and undependency, they're not dependent on each other out of need and incompleteness. To the degree that we have not completed your past we're going to hand that to our children."

I’ve been trying to see how my childhood has affected my life. Learning about so much. Had a trauma-informed psychologist for a couple years. Reading all the books. But listening to this man reminds me most of the shocking things Jesus said about how you must really leave your parents entirely. Jesus was right.

Implying that children are incapable of learning when they're two or younger? How do you think they learn to walk, talk, and eat??
