I really wish they wouldn't dye it purple.There's so much fake " turquoise" and dyed junk out there that only those of us who are educated about turquoise know what to buy.One of the amazing things about this planet is the seemingly endless variety of gemstones that come from the earth.If people want purple gemstones or any other color gemstones they can find probably find a gemstone that matches their color choice
These turquoise are so soft that they stabilize almost all of them with plastic and they dye them. I don't consider them natural. The best turquoise is Iranian turquoise, they are hard and they come in all sort of colour with no need of stabilization nor dying.
@@normanbraslow7902 Probably you havent seen many Persian turquoise. In fact there are a wide range Persian turquoise from literally white to dark purple and smoky. I have seen Persian turquoise similar to Bisbee but Bisbee doesnt have the variety that Neishabour mine in Iran produces.

I heard a scientific report on the radio say they had discovered that the color at the edge of the universe was turquoise !!
I just found what I think is a large turquoise specimen today in Arizona.
