Awesome! I hope the video helped and you found it useful. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it. Have a great day.
Tim, thanks for the video, being on the east coast the Nike rubber has been like wearing skates on moist roots and rocks in the mornings and stream crossings. Not a lug issue but no wet grip from the rubber. Would have liked to see this addressed as this has been an issue with the rubber on all their trail shoes. Maybe in future Nike trail reviews, keep up the great work. As a side note I think they used one size lace because in my 10.5 the laces are barely long enough for a single knot, no chance at runners knot.
That's really good to know. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience in the these. Maybe they can use something more like the Vibram Mega Grip like on the Speedgoat or the Olympus. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
Great review Tim, given the moderate stack height would you recommend this for a 'door to trail' shoe, as in, one that you could wear on the road for parts of the run? Many thanks and hope ankle is doing ok.
Yes. They do pretty well on the road. Often the half's that I've done are a combo of road and trail and these are a good choice for situations like that. Have a great day!
Nike doesn't come out and say the upper is water resistant. They state that the mesh upper allows for breathability and lets the water escape. The Trail 2 seems to be more water resistant than the upper on the 3. Hey thanks for watching. Have a great day and thanks again!
No it’s not. It does fine on the road but really shines on moderate trails, gravel roads, hard packed dirt and so on. The Peg 38 more comfortable on the pavement. Hey thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it. Have a great day.
So, right when I was looking for a comparison between these two, this video shows up. What a coincidence! Awesome video! :)

Uh, same here! Tim is a mind reader!

Not sure if I missed it but is the upper water resistant or waterproof?

@@RunTall thanks.
They'll likely drop a gore-tex version of the shoe come fall. I'm holding out for that
Is it better than the 38 for road running?

i take 10 for the terra kiger 7 , how size this model ? the same size ?
I ordered true to size for me and they fit perfectly. Hey thanks for watching. Have a great day.
