The oldest Antaeus Pour Homme one sees nowadays are from the mid 90s to early 2000s, not from the 1980s or early 1990s. Your assessment of the vintage Antaeus is correct too. Vintage 1980s Antaeus has the white top on the cap and the silver sprayer. The dry-down of the Vintage too, is different from the current version. The dry-down of the Vintage Antaeus smells subtly masculine, with patchouli, castoreum, oak-moss and leather notes. The dry-down of the current version, however, is kind of perfumey, kind of feminine in character, with a polite, floral scent on the skin.

Yeah they are. Seems like guerlain parfums were less made, harder to get, and more expensive. I can only imagine how mitsouko and vol de nuit are in parfum.

Very interesting video. Yes, you can find many vintage 1980s fragrances like Antaeus in the Far East. The reason is because fragrances weren’t that popular in the Far East in those days, even now.
