    Great video! Couldn’t tell for sure from the video but you might have to extend that steering stabilizer half way before tightening down the u bolts all the way. So it has room to depress when turning left.

    What steering stabilizer bracket kit did you use? Looking to get one for my CJ5 I'm building. Keep in mind you will need to shim your axles once it is all assembled and body back on unless your perches were rotated already.

      Can you tell me more about the need for shims. I read back through the installation guide and it only mentions it for 4 inch and above. Mine is a 2.5 inch BDS

      @@coopoutdoors6117 Thanks for the link. Thank you, I've enjoyed watching yours as well. I've been slacking on videos and progress lately. As for the shims. I have a 2.5=3" OME lift using YJ springs. The rear will need to be shimmed to rotate the yoke up to point at your transfer case output. This way you can run a double cardan rear u-joint and not get any vibration. These CJ5s are really short as you know and lifting them only complicates the driveline angles even more. In the front you shim the axle to give you more positive caster, approx 5-6 degrees which will help handling and driveability. Also, I see you did the draglink flip, if you go to a stock pitman arm for a power steering box and mount the pitman arm end of the draglink on the bottom it will be almost flat and above your tie rod. I don't think you need the drop pitman arm. I have a video where I show the axles shims. I think it was the one where my CJ gets its driveshafts.
