Rodman was crazy. The best kind of crazy. I mean you have to be nuts to be 6' 7" and pull down every rebound and defend every position. The energy, the bounce, the sheer manic will, the joy he took in taking a charge or tipping in a miss, it was infectious and fun and crazy. He was the Lawrence Taylor of the NBA.

Not only was that the best NBA team ever, but also the most entertaining to watch by far.

Dennis was one of a kind. And Mike loved hard workers who wanted to win. I never doubted Dennis fitting in with his skill set in was perfect. Dennis played defense and rebounded and when he got the ball he gave it up to MJ. match made in heaven

@@labenbrittenum6934 did you not see the last dance? He can’t go anywhere without getting mobbed. He said the best part of his day was sitting inside a hotel room smoking a cigar because once he lives that room, his privacy is out the window. I’m pretty sure MJ don’t need to be arrogant outside the b ball court. The man makes over 90 million in passive income. He donates millions to hospital charities and don’t even mentions it. I don’t know where u are getting this “they say” garbage. lol.

I grew up with the 90s bulls. I was a kid during the first 3 peat and wanted to be like Mike. I was a teenager for the 2nd three peat and wanted to be like Rodman.

I always cheer for the underdog, so I hated the Bulls always winning.
But damn, now I'd love to have witnessed them get 4 in a row.
    It would've been beyond dynasty.

I JUST said that....I think maybe even Phil Jackson said that in one of my 4 books about Jordan/Bulls. Rodman is twitchy as hell and he was a couple years past his athletic prime. He had a different gear. Prime Jordan may have the vertical edge, but Rodman winning a footrace by a hair

Rodman's ability to track shots and predict where rebounds were going were 2nd to none, and his will to come down with those in an era of all time great centers was amazing. Although Wilt and Russell and others have far more I believe Dennis was the greatest rebounder ever pound for pound.

I love Rodman. . . but popular? When he was doing this, he was thought of as a freak show. . . popular? More popular than Jordan? That's laughable! That's revisionist history. . . He got to the Spurs and dyed his hair in 1993. . . 1993. . . Nope, he was regarded as a freak show. . . But seriously - Rodman - best rebounder ever? Yep! Best defensive player ever? Yep! But popular? Nope. And nowadays? When you watch re-runs? He looks normal. . . but he was quite prophetic about where society was going!
