Am I the only one noticing, for the first time these Denons decks finally have a professional look with Andy Mack settings. I mean the color of the mixer as well as the mixer setting n the back ground color make these decks look so cool right now. Before anybody chew me up, I know these decks r powerful it’s just that they look kinda toyish to me. If that’s even a word. Bref the setting of this video truly, truly elevated those decks right now. I know this is not what this video is about. But I just wanted to point that out.
Please put out as many as you can! Best transition video I've come across yet. And FINALLY someone doing Hip Hop and getting funky. All these house guys 'it has the same four to the floor pattern so lets get a little crazy and turn off the sync button'.
I love the way you explain the reasoning behind your transitions and the scenarios where it works the best for you. Great delivery. Keep up the good work!
They used to do this in the clubs in the early 2000s a lot, DJS would play little snippets of the song coming in and let it ride and also play snippets of the song as it ended or transitioned through! Pretty much the crowd would kinda get an indication of what song was going to be played next, it was really cool
Great video - my only suggestion is to have your camera set onto manual focus. Set and focus it at the start of your video and leave it. The camera tries to be too smart and auto focus on the wrong things sometimes with your movement.
Love your stuff thank you- where can I find these tracks the Rick James -- what is title- also when do you bring in 2nd track that you are using after mover la Colita
Nice. i am doing a lot of that now, i keep forgetting to add cues to the end of the songs, thanks for the knowledge. Also i am using the DENON's one hour a day for the last three days and not of fan of those Jogs. at all. :)also if you find a way to turn off the quantize on the deck (stand alone mode) please let me know
Wow you actually spoke about spanish music. Fanally some one out there is undertanding that spanish music is now a mejor part of the club sence. But please remember we are not all mexican but we still blood. 🖒🖒
you do a real nice Job I have one ? , that silent cue pt. is that a temp cue, or is it a numbered cue pt, and where is it going, on the last beat ? , because I have done this, and it cut off at the end. luckily it was a practice session, I really want to master this ,it comes in handy thx again for you advice.PS. even with your echo out's your BPM's are within 5 ?
i think he set a cue point at the end where there was no sound. so basically playing blank and then you can easily cue to a different point. At least that's what i think he means
TTHANKS FOR THIS VIDEO CAN U MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT TEMPO CHANGE TRANSITIONS SOMETIME I USE CUE POINTS LOOP AND CHANGE THE TEMPO AND GRADUALLY MAKE THE TEMPO CHANGE BY SLOWLY BRINGING UP OR DOWN THE TEMPO IF THATS OK THANK YOU SIR FROM THE Bay Area DJ JOSEPH
Wait for the instrumental section of the hiphop song and blend the cumbia that has an intro of drums with the same bpm both tracks then simply slowly lower the hiphop and bring the cumbia up, it always work. Remember never mix vocals with vocals u will confuse the ppl. Good luck and practice practice makes you better!!

How you transition from hip hop to cumbia
I could do something on that
Grabbing my popcorn I'm ready to this
Find a similar bpm and key and mix it.
