This is absolutely everything I needed today. A wonderful calm vlog to sit and just watch and listen. Just like sitting having a coffee and craft day with a friend. I totally loved this and I love your attitude to sewing, I never count either hahaha, if I have one or two pleats too many, they go in a seam ;) Thank you sooooo much for this vlog Sarah, it must have taken you so very long to create this for us. Have a beautiful week

Gorgeous little Bishop. I'm going to give it a try. As a learner, I would like a little close up of the flowers while you are making them. Thank you great tutorial.

So exited to see another long video from you! I like to put these on while I work on a project. I have another niece on the way in October, I made my first ever smocked gown for her sister last year from your layette pattern bundle, and I think I’ll make them both a bishop for their first photos together.

I remember the first bullion roses I embroidered on my sister's baby daughter's flannel wrapper. 1971. That little one is a grandmother now...sigh.

Beautiful bishop! How do you make sure the arch is centered in the front and joins each side in the back?

yeah, depends where you decide to start the pattern, but also, I don't try to manage all three. c'est la vie! ❤️

Beautiful! I'm working on my first bishop, and have a quick question for you; do you always construct the dress before smocking regardless of the size? I'm working on a piece for a newborn but I'm worried that it will be too small to work the piece

Buy the highest quality needles you can afford and find a pin cushion with an EMERY strawberry. Not stuffed. Emery. It removes burrs, and keeps pins and needles sharp.

I prefer to buy hanks. What are the numbers of the pinks and greens?

What are the buttons you are using at the end?

lol good question... this bishop is still without buttons. oh wait, do you mean those mother of pearl sequins? they're from farmhouse fabrics.
