My niece and her hubby (RCMP) and family just moved from Port McNeil to near Victoria. They were there for a few years and really liked it. They had a beautiful property on the water. The soccer game was exciting to watch; I was glued to my seat, and I don't even like soccer. I love the sound of the waves on the pebbles. Thanks for sharing.
Love this part of the Island. Looks as if it wasn't too bad getting campsites! That was a lot of rain but we need it in BC! Telegraph Cove is a beautiful town. It's one of the main stops for the VanIsle 360 race where we get 2 days off to rest (or repair sails) so there are a lot of happy memories. Looking forward to the next video and adventures :)
North part of island is so nice....and not too busy! We found it more challenging to find spots when we moved farther down heading home. VanIsle 360... sounds challenging (!) and lots of wonderful views as well!
Vancouver Island is really a great spot to visit...and you get just about every type of scenery; ocean beaches, old growth forests, mountains, and large lakes (but no desert) all within a full days drive! We hadn’t visited the northern island before; and even in what had been a very hot and dry summer hot summer it was so green and not too busy! Glad you enjoyed!
We are first time RV owners as of a few weeks ago - a Minnie Winnie trailer - and get so much inspiration from your adventures. Thank you for your RUclips channel.
Absolutely loved this one guys!!! I love the west coast, and I love the rain, I really miss the west coast but my wife and I are planning a move back , but your vid’s are a fix for a longing heart
Thank you! We really enjoyed this part of the trip; it was so great to see so many eagles. Glad we could share! We love the rain as well, albeit we have seen perhaps too much this spring! 🚐
We explored that part of Vancouver Island 20 years ago in August and it poured rain. We are tent campers and stayed in hotels the whole time. We made it to Alert Bay, Cortes and Quadra Islands. Alert Bay was the highlight. Missed Telegraph Cove though. Great video. Nancy
The weather during the first part of the video reminded me of here in Wales! , however I am glad it improved as your trip progressed. The region looked very pretty and together with the various hikes it looked as though you had a great time. Take care and best regards.😁👍🚐

What great scenery. The ocean/rocks/small hike. Too bad about the rain. There are lots of recreational site out that way. Wishing you well as always.
Yes, such a nice area! Given the fires elsewhere we actually didn’t mind the rain! Safe travels!

Even with rain!
Liz Bryan wrote a book exploring the back roads on Vancouver Island. We find it invaluable. Not sure if it still in print. Nancy
We will check...appreciate the advice!
The book is Country Roads of Western B.C. and it appears to still be in print. Her books are amazing. Great pictures too. Nancy
