- We camp with friends at Green Point Campground in Pacific Rim National Park on BC's wild west coast. We enjoy great walks on the beach and stunning sunsets despite various ailments (should call us "Sick'n RV" this time!) and some stormy weather. Gordon also goes on a solo hike and has a gorgeous beach all to himself!

There is nothing worse than being sick when you are away from home. I hope your back is better soon, Miki. We just got back from Fort Stevens on the Oregon coast. It took 6 hours to drive there and no ferry fees and cheaper gas. Have you been there? After Memorial Day there are lots of programs and tours there. Take care. Nancy

Are you going to stay at Skihist this year? We are not certain because of Lytton being gone. Nancy
@@douglasmcbryan3705 we will likely stop by soon in fact. Disappointed and sad for folks there that it has taken so long for any form of rebuilding to start once again in Lytton. Perhaps they didn’t get the support that they probably needed.

@@douglasmcbryan3705there now…most of park campground looks fine. Area to west and nearer road a bit fire damaged but we are quite pleased overall! All buildings the same.

What age is senior for ferry?
65 and above but must be a BC resident. Seniors travel free M-Th excluding holidays, but you still need to pay for vehicle if not just a walk on. Unrelated, but the government also offers a a significant BC senior discount for camping in BC Parks, however this doesn’t include the summer months.
