I've played the Cello for 9 years and I just picked up the Guitar a month ago, I was OK for a beginner but guys like Steve made me feel like trash at the guitar. Now that I'm seeing this video I don't feel as bad knowing I'm a much better Cellist/Violinist (they're main difference is size and Violins' top sting is E while Cellos' is A) thanks Steve :)

Imagine how hard it is for me, a violinist, to learn guitar. Wierd string layout, frets, the giant distance between notes, and picking quickly; I'm having a lot of trouble, to say the least
It easier. Frets take away the trouble of worrying about intonation.

I play violin as well, for about 3 years. I also got a guitar a year ago, and it was super hard for me as well!!! Hang in there, it gets easier!!!😁😁😁
You can’t just place your fingers wherever you want on a guitar and expect a good sound. It has to be prcecise. Granted electric guitar gives a bit more leeway.
